Restaurant La Corvette — Restaurant in Montreal

Continuing my mission to try all of the classic Montreal diners, I finally made my visit to La Corvette. If you are a lover of classic Canadian diners this is a must-try. Places like this are neat because simply by never updating their aesthetic, after enough years they achieve the most authentic retro aesthetic merely by staying the same, which is hilarious and beautiful when you think about it. Service was great, the staff was helpful and welcoming to me and my friend. I went for a gyro pita and was shocked at how good it was. Came out fast too. Meat was normal quality but this thing was made with love. I love tzatziki and they loaded it with the stuff which made me so happy. Something about the steamie just slapped so much harder than most of the other steamie I've had so far. This place was just saturated in "classic diner" experience from every one of it's aged pores from the atmosphere...

Today I was in this restaurant to pick up order for customer. When I enter in the restaurant the guy was talking to me in French . I cannot speak French but. I understand some of it.I am new in Quebec Montreal so the guy was very upset to me because I was talking to him in English I stayed order for 20 minutes.
