I have ordered delivery from this place many times and have eaten there in the past, but I am taking a moment to review now. It is a cozy place to eat and experience a taste of Italy. Wonderful and friendly staff who are very attentive and always serve with a smile. Great atmosphere. Nice and quiet, and as the name suggests, there is plenty of natural light from the veranda style windows. Now, the part I love talking about is the food. I enjoyed the Pasta Gigi and a small sausage pizza shared between a friend and myself. The Pasta Gigi was spectacular, creamy, and tangy in a wonderful way. Served with some bread, and you will need those to dip in the sauce when you're done with the pasta as the sauce is too good to let go of. The portion is a big one. In the end, we didn't need to order that pizza but split a slice just to say we ate part of it, and that too was delicious as always. Left the place feeling very full but in a good way. This is a great place for a nice supper and glass of wine if you are so inclined. I will definitely be going back as this time around. Since we moved from RDP to Saint Leonard last year this place took over has our place to go when we crave a submarine and a few other items such as onion rings, gyro and even a regular poutine. 99.99% of the time their submarine dough, onion rings and fries are crispy, not soggy. The meat in the sub is minced while being cooked, in other words, some love and care from the cooks. This place is good enough to beat all other places we tried in Saint Leonard for our end of the week takeout restaurant. However, their pizza, which seem to be the only item so far we do not like, needs to improve for us to start ordering that again. This place is a hidden gem in downtown Montreal. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with a beautifully modern twist on traditional Indian decor. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we walked in. We tried the butter chicken, lamb Roganjosh and their garlic naan — everything was perfectly spiced, rich in flavor, and served hot. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, and the quality is top-notch. Drinks were great too — highly recommend their signature cocktails! Definitely coming back soon.
