PSA for vegans: THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT VEGAN FRIENDLY at all. Indeed not only that but they are liars about it.
Pourquoi mentir?
This restaurant promotes itself as vegan on all the delivery apps. Obviously someone chose to check the "vegan" box thinking it would better promote their restaurants. But there are absolutely no vegan options on this menu. The owners don't even understand what vegan means. I called, confused asking for their supposed vegan options (since it's at the top of the list in all the delivery apps when I chose the "vegan" filter) and the guy recomends an omelette with cheese and veggies. (Nope not vegan cheese nor vegan eggs) and then yogurt (again not cashew or coconut yogurt but animal dairy based yogurt).
And then when I explain what vegans means, Bill, the manager goes off on this condescending speech about how he knows and he loves vegans. Okay. So you know what vegan means yet you think animal eggs and animal cheese are vegan?? And you LOVE vegans but don't even offer one vegan option in your menu?
okay buddy, keep your love. Just remove the vegan checkmark.
Hey! I don't mind. Not every restaurant needs to cater to me. I would just avoid your restaurant. But stop promoting yourself as a vegan restaurant. That's just rude!
Indeed, there are quite a few breakfast places that have vegan eggs and vegan yogurts etc and even pizza pizza carries vegan cheese and vegan meats.
So vegans be warned. This restaurant is hostile towards vegans.
Alors pour les végans, sachez que les propriétaires de ce resto n'aiment pas les végans et mentent en représentant leur resto comme un resto végan. En réalité, ils...
Read moreYou know that feeling you got after watching 2019 Cats The Movie, imagine that but amplified. The whole experience was disheartening. It reminded me of those gruesome years when I was around 10yrs old, being pawned off to my wicked Grandma because my parents had to do 60hr work weeks to afford a house for us and my five siblings. Instead of my mouth watering, it's my eyes watering. Those faint memories of cardboard tasting food with an healthy dose of hypertension (the only spice she could afford was salt, years of salt) escaped the suppression of my mind. Just like the strangers who used to stop by at Granny's to buy her Tupperware, the server gave all too familiar hardcore predator vibes (no shock considering the name off the establishment). Even from the grave, Grandma won again. It was like her ghost wanted to remind me she's still here. It was eerie how similar things were. The only difference was at Peddlers they charge you an arm and a leg and a soul for your luncheon meat. Granny only borrowed your spirit. That and her place was cleaner. I'm sure I just went on the bad day (apprently everyday). Cheers. And good luck. (To the customers, not...
Read moreHonestly really disappointed with my order. I ordered the Billy plate which I was under the impression I was actually receiving a steak. The description said steak and they even asked for how I wanted it cooked, I picked medium rare. Not only was it cooked to hell but I received two thin slices of beef.. Also my poached eggs were swimming in water and the yolks inside were completely waterlogged like the eggs were just sitting in water for some time. The âhollandaise â if you want to call it that was powdered there were unmixed powdered bits in it. And the sausages were dried out like they were cooked loooooong ago. The creton was obviously frozen. I opened it and it was waterlogged aswell . The only reason Iâm giving two stars is because it got to me quickly. Between things being previously cooked well in advance, frozen and chef microwave cooking my food Iâm not surprised my food got to me quickly. But 50$ for essentially cafeteria food is...
