Horrible service, rude , disrespectful employee and manager slower service after order placed then any second cup I have ever been to in my life !
When I mentioned the service was slow , to the manager the manager said “I thought you were waiting with another client”
Even if I was , though I wasn’t , this still doesn’t excuse such slow and unsatisfactory service. It simply proves me right unfortunately.
The client before me they gave him the wrong sandwich , then they changed it however forgot to heat it up,so now they heat up the right one but give him the wrong dessert, then forget to charge him for half of his order , just ridiculous .
Now...Instead of acknowledging the lack of quick service The manager begins speaking to his trainee in Arabic the entire time making my drinks .... slowly...
Obviously slandering me , as if I care , finally when I’m given my drinks , the trainee tells me that if I don’t like their service that I should go elsewhere and tells me how I haven’t been waiting that long.
The complete lack of regard was sincerely uncomfortable, I felt wronged because I was. Never EVER go to second cup on 1555 Marcel Laurin blvd. WORST SERVICE EVER HANDS DOWN I’m not surprised if they close down by the next fiscal year. What a joke

Read moreWell placed location, a lot of traffic in and out but there is always room to sit. Lots of college students during the day and night. Free wifi. You don’t feel rushed. The coffee and food is a 4.5 on 5 but I rated it a 3 because the service staff could be a little friendlier and bubbler. Also, they should offer perks for their cardholders such as something free for your birthday, like they do at Starbucks and David’s Tea. A little nice gesture goes a really long way. A little message for head office. 🙂
Edit to my previous review above, and reason for reducing from 3 stars to 2: the female manager or owner with the frizzy dirty blonde hair is rude and speaks roughly to both customers and her employees, lacks discretion, professionalism and proper customer service skills. She needs training in customer appreciation. Will be switching cafés after today’s experience. Service should not be this complicated. To be noted: the 2 female baristas/employees in the front were super courteous and clearly have the right skills to work there, in spite of their boss’s inaptitude. 👏

Read moreWas very nice to be honest, for a Sunday afternoon. I arrived here there was a guy working by himself. He was very hygienic, and very fast. However, once he finished his shift there were 2 girls who took over, very unprofessional ZERO food safety and hygiene practices. No hairnets, no gloves. I get they’re both teenagers and they’re sitting down at one of the tables studying nothing wrong with that, but come on, few customers sat on the same table without having wiped down and sanitized. While I was sitting a group of 6 sat down in front of me and the tables were so dirty one of the group members got up and asked for the table to be cleaned up. Level of unprofessionalism. I rated the food 2 stars because the food looked old. The service 4 stars all for the guy that was working in the morning. Finally 3 starts for the atmosphere because of how bright the place is and the verity of music playing. This is the mug handle I was drinking out of. No one thought to give it a scrub?
P.S. the girls are sitting with their friend while there is a dirty table waiting...
