Tonight was my third time at this specific location. The service was excellent. The portions are good. The sauce they serve with the fried calamari tastes cheap (yellow mustard mixed with mayo and mayo+ketchup: not very Greek, if you ask me).
We ordered the half chicken plate. The chicken was quite bland; there were barely any spices or garlic or lemon on the skin.
Their salad dressing is disappointing. It's bland and uninteresting (you don't taste that punch from olive oil, garlic, lemon and oregano you usually find in an authentic Greek dressing).
Their rice is usually good, but tonight, it was bland and more like cafeteria rice.
Finally, during a previous visit, I ordered a chicken souvlaki pita and tonight, I asked some tzatziki on the side and I can say without a doubt that there is something off with their tzatziki. I can't put my finger on it, but it is something I make regularly at home and that I ate at other Greek restaurants and theirs doesn't taste good.
This restaurant has great potential, but you can feel some laziness in the kitchen (or maybe in the administration?) because they tend to cut corners and they don't serve...

Went for a family birthday and had a wonderful time.
Our waitress made our first experience there really great! She answered all of our questions about the menu and suggested a delicious appetizer (that is not currently on the menu - but if you're 6 people, totally worth sharing - ask your about the ~15$ platter-calamari, octopus, oven baked potatoes, 2 sauces for dipping & pita!)
The food was just delicious, definitely going back.
The atmosphere is great, big space - doesn't feel crowded. The decor is nice with a big bar and 2 TV screens if ever you want to watch a sports game.
My husband wanted to order the 'meatshovel' on the menu - they say it's for 2 people, in my opinion it was for 4 people -.-!
You get your money's worth that's for sure and you can bring any extra food home!
Still eating that leftover meatshovel for lunch this...
Read moreMy wife and I were craving Greek food during our visit to Montreal. It’s located in a plaza, which turned out to be a win — parking was much easier here than at another spot we had originally considered. We dropped in for lunch, and it wasn’t too busy, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. The staffs were incredibly kind and helpful, especially since the menu was in French. They took the time to explain everything and made us feel welcome. When the food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions — huge plates and everything looked delicious. It was really tasty! We opted one of the plate with no rice and asked for extra salad instead, and even then, the servings were more than enough. The mocktails were also spot on — refreshing and flavorful. All in all, it was a great find and on the list next time we’re back...
