Tutti Frutti déjeuner et diner — Restaurant in Montreal

Tutti Frutti is one of my all time favorite breakfast restaurants. Their menu selections consists of sweet to savory and healthy/gluten-free to traditional breakfast choices. Their staff members are regular employees and they're all really polite and courteous. Even the friendly manager will go out of his way to make sure all you needs are met. This establishment is always clean, even in the washrooms. The serving portions are quite big and service is never long. Each dish comes with fresh fruit and free coffee/tea refills. Tutti Frutti costs less than other (well know breakfast establishments) and their dishes are larger, fresher and you don't have to wait eternally in line for a seat. Sadly there are no options for vegans. The waitress didn't even know what a vegan was and suggested eggs...

I ended up ordering oatmeal as it was the only option and they still brought a side of milk products with some cream and buttered toasts.

I guess it's simply impossible to avoid animal exploitation and cruelty at Tutti Frutti. Avoid at all costs if you're vegan. It's sad. How hard is it to have a few cruelty free options.

As per service on top of the waitress bringing animal products even after I said I was vegan she didn't bring a spoon with my oatmeal and I had to ask two waitresses to finally...

Very courteous and polite service. Felt like coming to family breakfast.

However the food was not tasty. I had classic 2 eggs and meat dish.

Bacon is not crunchy, potatoes are dry, little bawl of tastless fruits and well, sausages where chewy. I hate being negative, but overall did not enjoy the meal.

My wife had some new strawberry dish and it did not look at all like on the picture.

On the other bright side: A lot of parking. Easily accessible. Friendly staff. Food arrived pretty fast.

Hope to come back and try something else to change my impression...
