Sushi Plus — Restaurant in Montreal

I reserved seating for 12 people last Saturday 15th of September, in the LaSalle location for an evening celebration. I asked if they offered a discount for a large group and their answer was no. Ok....When we got there we were given 2 pads to order from. When I asked if my group could have more pads to accommodate us, the tall lanky server said no. I wish I had gotten his name, he was the worst! He was aloof and seemed totally uninterested in us. It felt like we were disturbing him. Never once did he ask if everything was ok. The sushi was coming all disorganized, which was the reason we couldn't have any more pads apparently. Really? We had to switch the plates around the whole time we were there. Not to mention there were orders that never came and then came too late. It was like mass confusion. I have to say the service was awful! Not accommodating at all. That's 12 people who will share their experience and so on and so on. The women's washroom were simply disgusting. There seemed to have been an overflow of water from somewhere. No toilet paper. No handsoap. People were coming out dragging their feet so not to slip. The only friendly face was Matthew who filled our water glasses. I didn't get to enjoy my food because of all this, so I can't even rate the sushi. This was not my first experience in this type of restaurant for your information. Hope this...

I recently visited Sushi Plus that offered an all-you-can-eat option for $40 per person, this is one of the worse all u can eat I have ever visited and honestly I left pretty disappointed.

The first thing that struck me was how run-down and dirty the place looked. The lighting was dim, almost as if they were trying to hide the dirtiness. Our table was visibly dirty when we sat down, and when we asked the staff to clean it, they barely made an effort. To make matters worse, there was a dead bug on our table, and instead of properly removing it, the server simply threw it over to my partner's side of the table. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable.

As for the food, it was anything but fresh. The avocado in the sushi was old and sour, and none of the sushi rolls were satisfying. Every bite was a disappointment, and we couldn't help but feel uneasy about the quality of the ingredients. We were genuinely worried that we might get food poisoning.

It's hard to believe this place has such good reviews because our experience was terrible from start to finish. The food was subpar, the cleanliness was appalling, and the overall ambiance was uninviting. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. Save your money and your stomach, and...

Never going back to this place! First of all we arrive there and the outside sign is not even lit up… makes the place look very sketchy but we decided to look past that. Then when we arrive inside we realized that the server for the restaurant was a robot! It made sense why the outside sign was not lit up because they spent all their money on a robot waiter. Dont get me started on the food, some of it was decent like the tempura and dumplings but the spring rolls were soaked in a liquid that i dont want to know what it was, and one of them was not even cooked through. It was warm on the outside and frozen on the inside. The wasabi was rock hard and then we saw that the ginger and wasabi was right next to the cash to pay and was very clearly not fresh. It was clear that they have been sitting there for days. The food did not taste fresh either, the rice was not moist like many other sushi places and overall was just not that good. To finish it all off, my friend ended up throwing up his entire dinner at the park next to the restaurant not even 5 minutes after we left. My other friend is currently struggling with diarrhea so to say the least we will definitely not come back nor recommend this...
