Low value, $10 for a mix of 10 pieces, not including drink or anything else. $3.04 for a can of Arizona Arnold Palmer? Please...

No napkins on table, you have to go and ask. What, are they afraid someone's going to make a business by stealing their napkins and reselling them? Outside seating has no trash cans present, you have to bring trash back inside only to find that there are no trash cans present inside either!

Don't know how this place manages to stay in business with Mikado next door and Soba just a few minutes away. I've lived on Monkland for over a year now and the place is almost always empty....

This is the best sushi in Montreal and the sushi is made by the most caring and lovely couple! The quality of the ingredients is always top notch and they actually care about their customers' satisfaction. I've also never had to wait more than 20 minutes for an order. I love their poke bowls! I started going to Sushi Star 10 years ago when I lived in the NDG neighbourhood and have since moved to Florida. Whenever I come back to Montreal I ALWAYS go to Sushi Star. I highly recommend going to Sushi Star - you will fall in love with the service and the quality...

I love this place!! I've lived in NDG almost 10 years and I've been getting sushi here for most of that time. The food is always fresh and delicious. The people who run the place are super friendly and genuine. It's just the two of them running the whole thing! It's just always been a good experience. My usual order is the maki royal and spicy salmon maki. This time around I got an 80 piece order for a party. Everything was ready in about an hour and a half as they promised. You can't go wrong with this...
