Tasty MTL — Restaurant in Montreal

This is my 3rd time eating at/ordering from Tasty and I just had to leave a review at this point.

• Service and staff there made it feel like I was right at home, just perfect all around. 10/10.

• To start it off, the french fries are really really good, you can judge a fast food place based off of their french fries quality and these are very good. So we’re off to a great start. 10/10.

• The first time around I went to the restaurant and got the Heart Attack Burger which left me truly speechless. The philly steak was to die for and the spice level was perfect for both amateurs of heat and for the less prone to spicy food. 10/10.

• The second time around I had ordered the Crazy Crunch wrap. If you’re less interested in red meat and lean more towards chicken, this is a MUST try! The chicken was perfectly crispy, the lettuce was not soggy (N.B. I live quite far from the restaurant so kudos to the packaging work) and the mix of sauce: sweet smokey BBQ with the indescribable (and as it’s name suggest) Tasty Sauce is the perfect comfort meal after a long day (pro tip : get the tasty sauce on the side then dip the wrap in it, thank me later) 11/10.

• Today I ordered their Libanais burger and this is the one that pushed me over the edge…it.is.THEE.most.delicious.burger.I.have.ever.tried. I can confidently say that. The coleslaw mixed with the perfectly brined pickles, the soft cheddar cheese adds texture to the mix and to top it off the ketchup and garlic sauce combo was a masterful decision. Once again try dipping it in the tasty sauce for an even greater experience. 15/10!

We've had food from here twice, since the rating went up a bit since the new owners took over.

First time I was really impressed (a month ago). Ordered in the restaurant, waited 15 minutes and ate it within 5 minutes. Everything was nice and hot and we were really impressed with the quality of the fries and onion rings. Beer batter style fries, super crispy and really hard to find at most restaurants. I wasn't that crazy about the crispy chicken sandwich which wasn't particularly crispy, but the toppings were nice. Boyfriend enjoyed his avocado chicken sandwich.

Second time was last week, ordered ahead, but the food might have been sitting for 5 minutes when we got it. Got smash burgers this time, which were decent. Onion rings were still great, fries were unfortunately a bit soggy.

Overall, pretty great food when you eat it fresh, but like any fast food the quality drops significantly once it starts cooling off. Better to eat here in person. I personally think the fries and onion rings are better than the burgers, but for the prices and portion, I think the quality is consistent and I like it well enough to keep coming back. Considering the lack of good restaurants in the area, we're really happy about Tasty.
