Wow. Really enjoyed my first experience at this place on a beautiful Saturday for a late lunch. It is a small place with a few tables, very clean where you order at the counter and you wait. If you are in a rush don't expect to get in and out in 5 or 10 minutes. Why you might ask; because they cook everything on the spot, everything is super fresh and you can feel and taste the difference. I can wait a few minutes more to eat quality and savory food. We ate kind of pita sandwiches with the best falafel from Montreal and probably Quebec, fries and soft drinks for under 50 $. The have a great selection of meat, vegetarian and vegan choices. As a bonus, the two employees working were nice, polite, respectful, professional and friendly. I was told they have been open since late 2021 and they would like more clients. It is a must, on Papineau street close to Mont- Royal. You will not be...

Let me just say this place was amazing, and it lives up to all the reviews. This turned out to be our first stop upon arriving in Montreal to eat because many places were closed due to a national holiday that we were unaware of. Boxing today. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we thoroughly enjoyed the food here. The staff was very welcoming and very helpful with us as it was our first time there and they got a feel for what we liked and what they think we should be served, which I appreciated completely. He said these were the best falafel I would ever have, and he was correct. The wife usually isn't a fan of them, but these were beyond exceptional. As well as the pitas that we had. Being that the neighborhood we were staying in, it was very convenient, and this will definitely be a stop that we make the next time we...

While I want to say that I reluctantly write this review, because I wouldn't want to cause unnecessary stress on the guys working behind the counter, my god!! I can't skip on leaving a review. This place is banging!

We tried this on a whim instead of going for familiar favourites on Mont-Royal, and it did 👏 not 👏 disappoint.👏

Everything from the Sheed to the Falafel was unique in flavour and balance. It was light but filling. And price? Better than everything around it. Now, I'm one to love the new shops opening up around, but they're missing the mark on balancing their quality and price... Unlike them, Tesfa doesn't. Every single person coming in knew what they were in for. Cartoonish double-takes left and right.

Man, y'all have something...

YOU GOTTA EAT HERE! Be sure to not overlook/make a stop at this gem, located a stone's throw up from Mt Royal, on Papineau beside La Tulipe (open after bar hours on weekends) & across the street from Zero Gravity. Definitely a welcome and wonderful missing addition to the neighbourhood, offering up fresh and satisfying falafel, smooth and creamy hummus, fluffy pita, perfectly crisp french fries, balanced tasty chile sauce… delicious and made in-house, prepared and delivered with a smile you could feel beyond the masks! I had a take-away of a generously* sized falafel pita (*i.e. Heavy! I saved half of my lunch sandwich for later!), but they do have a nice eat-in counter also available. Best of luck to this place, I will be back!
