Terrible service. I have ordered from this store in previous years and didn't have a problem, this time I have placed an order for a cake for my daughters birthday. Because it was more convenient for me to get the it delivered to my home I paid the $14 extra for the service. When I placed the order the delivery timeframe said between 8 am and 5pm. The day of the delivery I get a notification at noon that my order was ready and would be delivered soon. Around 4 pm I called the store to make sure that they will deliver the cake on time, nobody picked the phone, I tried all branches all evening as well as my husband, at the same time I was sending emails to know what time they will come as we were supposed to leave for the party. Nobody contacted me during this time or answered my email. We waited until 9PM!!! and nobody showed up or called. Then we just left for our family party without a cake!!! needles to say the surprised was spoiled. Around 10PM one person calls my husband and says that they will be at our home in 5min!. We obviously told him that we didn't want the product anymore as it was late and no within the timeframe promised when I placed the order.

After that I have made several attempts to contact the company by phone and email, AND NO ONE ANSWERS!. I was so fed up that I went to the branch located downtown to ask for my refund, and surprisingly the clerk told me that she cannot do anything for me because my cake was made in the Plateau branch and they do not have the same system! This is really unacceptable and don't have any words to describe how bad I feel as a customer. Until today 14-11-2021 nobody got in touch with me to apologize and to refund my money.

The clerk told me also that their deliveries are made by a third party company, Les Glaceurs be aware that that those people are going to ruin the name of you store like this. I have waited enough now and I am disputing the charges...

Dans une décevante expérience culinaire, la gestionnaire de ce lieu a révélé un jugement déficient et s'est montrée peu fiable dans ses excuses. Au cours des dernières années, nous avons commandé en ligne une douzaine de cupcakes pour célébrer l'anniversaire de ma fille. Chaque année, nous avons précisé dans les commentaires notre demande de glaçage rose et bleu.

À ma grande surprise, lors du retrait de la commande, un supplément de 12 $ m'a été réclamé pour avoir demandé un glaçage "sur mesure" rose et bleu. Les années précédentes, le magasin ne m'avait jamais facturé de tels frais. Je peux comprendre qu'un commerçant demande un supplément pour des éléments personnalisés. Cependant, ni leur site internet ni aucun employé ne nous ont informés de ces frais supplémentaires.

Lorsque j'ai exprimé mon mécontentement en soulignant que j'aurais souhaité être informé de ces frais avant de retirer ma commande, la gestionnaire a prétendu qu'un de ses employés nous avait appelés. J'ai réfuté ses propos en affirmant que personne parmi ses employés ne nous avait contactés. Sans la moindre hésitation, elle a persisté dans sa version affirmant qu'un appel avait bel et bien été effectué. En somme, elle me traitait de menteur ! Elle a ajouté :

"Si nous vous avions annoncé ces frais à l'avance, les auriez-vous acceptés ?" J'ai répondu sans équivoque : "Absolument ! Mon point est que j'aurais effectué mon achat en toute connaissance de cause."

La discussion a tourné en rond, et pour éviter de perdre d'avantage mon temps, j'ai payé les 12 $ puisque, selon la gérante, elle n'avait aucun pouvoir discrétionnaire pour renoncer à ces frais en tant que responsable. Il est vraiment regrettable de constater à quel point les gestionnaires d'aujourd'hui disposent d'un si faible pouvoir discrétionnaire.

L'entreprise refuse d'assumer ses erreurs et me traite de menteur, ce qui constitue des motifs justifiés pour ne plus y effectuer d'achats.

Je vous recommande vivement de ne pas perdre votre temps à acheter ici, avec une évaluation de seulement 3,4 étoiles. Vegâteau, situé à quelques pas de ce magasin, affiche une note de 4,7 étoiles et représente un choix bien supérieur en termes de service et surtout de qualité...

I can only describe my experience. I ordered their 6 cupcake birthday box to have delivered to a friend who lived nearby. I was asked to select a morning or afternoon delivery slot. I selected morning. They charged me $20 just for delivery. They sent out the delivery in the afternoon. They use some driver app called Eva. The driver “seemingly” left the box of cupcakes outside the door!! Needless to say, my friend never found any cupcakes. I emailed Les Glaceurs explaining the situation. They never bothered to even respond. After spending $50 to send a friend some cupcakes for their birthday they could have at least acknowledged my...
