My recent visit to Tim Hortons through the drive-through left me deeply disappointed with the service provided. From the moment I placed my order to the final exchange at the window, the experience was marred by rude and inattentive behavior from the staff member taking my order.
Upon pulling up to the speaker, I simply requested a coffee, intending to also order a bagel. However, before I could finish my order, the staff member abruptly cut me off, stating, "That's all. Come to the window, please." This curt interaction set the tone for the rest of the encounter.
At the window, when I attempted to add a bagel to my order, I was met with dismissiveness. The staff member informed me that my coffee was ready and instructed me to wait in the parking lot for the bagel. Agreeing reluctantly, I parked and patiently waited for what I expected to be a quick addition to my order.
However, after waiting for an excessive 20 minutes without any sign of the bagel, I decided to inquire inside. To my dismay, the same staff member seemed indifferent to my concerns, claiming that they had checked the parking lot twice and hadn't seen me. This response was both unprofessional and frustrating, as it shifted blame onto the customer rather than acknowledging the lapse in service.
Overall, my experience at Tim Hortons drive-through fell far short of expectations due to the discourteous and neglectful behavior of the staff member. Such poor customer service detracts from the otherwise enjoyable offerings of Tim Hortons and leaves a lasting negative impression on patrons. I sincerely hope that the management addresses these issues to ensure a more pleasant experience for...
Read moreThe worst Tim Hortons franchise ever for several reasons.
Lack of hygiene- the employees barely clean the tables, or counters. The food shelves are messed up and certainly kills the appetite [Photo attached]. Additionally, the washroom is dirty and misses toilet tissue or soap almost always.
Wrong delivery of foods- some of the employees barely care about the order. Some may be new (who may require proper training), yet the regular ones cannot deliver a simple order. Additionally, the proportion of food are not adequate at times (i.e., coffee cups are 20% empty, creams on bagels are very little, cheese on sandwiches is very little).
Unwelcoming attitude- a few of the regular employees always seem upset. (I understand the stress of being busy at time) even if the store is not busy, he may not show positive attitude while taking orders. There was one time this particular employee started argument.
Unavailability of foods- the store tends not to have some items at times, even at 5 pm [Photo attached]. Some regular items are expected to be available almost always. I have been in situations that I was told such items are not available, yet it was given to a white person (may be because of racial discrimination).
I had good memories at this store and losing interest to visit. I still visit the store only because it is located at the center of the huge market. I hope that the employer provides proper training to the employees and do random audits for better...
Read moreTypically, I don’t bother leaving reviews, you just move on and never return. But the level of service at this particular Tim Hortons was truly appalling.
We ordered two lattes: one with oat milk and one with regular milk. When we asked which was which, the employee who took our order told us both were oat. We politely clarified that we had asked for one regular milk, and his response was, “It’s the same, just take it.” When we insisted on the correct order, he turned to his colleague and said, “Change it, even when it’s the same, because they’re demanding.”
As someone who also works in customer service, I find this unacceptable. It’s not hard to fulfill a simple request without disrespecting the customer and at the very least, wait until we’ve left before making rude comments. We paid for what we asked for, and the dismissive, unprofessional attitude...
