Tonic Bar — Restaurant in Montreal

went on a Saturday night. Was asked by the barmaid for my drivers licence and 20 $ deposit for the balls. I clearly asked more then once, will I get my deposit back because I am not paying to play pool. Too many places I could have gone have same policy. She said oh yes you will get your 20 back. service was the pits. They had trouble figuring out how to put the lights on for the tables and had to call the owner. Then the tv near our table was not on the game and the barmaid had no clue how to get the game on it so we moved tables. time for us to go later and the barmaid wants to charge us 18.75 for the table. we told her about what the last barmaid said and she only gave me my money back because I politely said I would not be back ever again. Big Big disappointment this evening (Feb 1st) when I took my friend to celebrate their birthday. We ordered Long Island Ice Tea & Beer. I was in shock when the Long Island Ice Tea arrived. I have never seen Long Island Tea in the Color of sprite. Just to make sure that it was the right drink I asked, the barmaid again as to what was in the drink. To my surprise, there was No ice tea nor coke that was mixed in the drink. The bar maid continue to argue with us and later accepted that the bar didnot have ice tea. I used to frequent this bar regularly when there was more of a buzz going on. Free pool Tuesdays, Thursday's and Sundays. Great pitcher & shots promos. Promo beer is always good.
