Toto Express — Restaurant in Montreal

After receiving my sub (30 mins after ordering) I noticed it was cut too short and called them. The man who answered on the phone first said "ok, so?" And i had to explain that getting a 7inch when your ordering 10 isn't fair he argued with me because it was "impossible". I suggested that they leave me a small credit for next time because I order pretty often but he continued arguing saying the only thing they could do was make a new sub and take the short one back. I told him that was overkill as it was edible and a wasted sub, that I'd go as far as sending him a picture with a measuring tape if he wanted proof, but he insisted and claimed it would be made right away and sent right away, I would just give back the bad order. 30 minutes later, still no new sub and cold food tormenting me, I called to ask for an eta and they claimed the driver left 2-3 minutes ago. I live a 10 minute drive from the restaurant.

20 Minutes past that I called back and after asking how much longer I'm supposed to wait to have dinner I was berated, accused of being greedy and told I would not get a refund (though I had said nothing about money) and he ended the call with "Enough with you".

When the delivery driver finally came I asked him for his managers name, and asked what took so long. He said the phone guy was the boss, that he had to deliver other people food too and laughed at my story. So, hungry and frustrated, I took the new sub and told the driver tell your manager "enough with you" and closed the door.

The driver then threw a fit in my entrance and banged things around for awhile and only left after I told him I'd call the police.

Toto pizza. If you want this short sub it's sitting on my counter. If you want the replacement sub it's right next to it. Have the owner call me and I'd be happy to talk this out but these employees really messed up.

Toto restaurant on the Main Street in Lachine Quebec is a Mainstay and as being there for quite some time. Complete menu of everything and they serve beer and wine and their pizzas are very decent and their pricing is reasonable. They've got a hard-working staff and it's definitely more of a blue-collar hard-working people area and a pleasure to actually have a real person working as a waitress and actually talking with you like you exist. Their pizzas and hamburgers are what I know but I seen people order lots of other stuff and be very happy. It's big enough to throw a meeting in there a group of people or large celebration. However you can always grab one of those great padded boost as we did right near the counter so that we had the waitresses attention easily. Both my buddy and I that split a pizza gave it a thumbs up. Probably a four out of five but with a great service and an old fashion place Decked Out like it was back in the day, which is when this place was put together I guess, it's a most reasonable well kept clean place that serves good food. Large choice on the menu and reel service at your table. Even the washrooms are well kept and clean. That's a real pleasure. You can count on this place at all times. 3rd time I order from them and the first time they got the address wrong, then the second time they forgot to put the order in and now the third time, I called after waiting for over an hour the lady at the phone said she forgot to put in the order in the computer.

I’ve been a customer ordering Toto’s for the past 25yrs, my parents use to order from there, but in the past years the service has been very deficient. I dont know if its new management, but when you live in the same city as the restaurant and they keep messing up, well you got to draw the line somewhere.

A very big shame to see this restaurant take their standards to a lower level.

I’ll take my money somewhere else. Sorry Toto, it’s a damn shame, but its too repetitive that my order either takes for ever to get here (well over an hour for delivery) or your receptionist just "forgets" to put it in.
