Absolutely great place, great ambiance, great people.
Edit on the review: 4 years later, I came back by chance in yer mad. I encountered Phil the bartender and I remembered what I loved the most about the place, the AMAZING staff. Phil was so incredibly kind to me, he literally made me feel welcomed and helped me out with good will and friendliness. Paired with the cozy atmosphere yer mad feels so homey I actually felt like I had walked into a little comfortable basement home party hosted by a friend rather than a random pub. I am name dropping Phil in this review hoping his manager will see this and know what a wonderful person works for him! If someone, as a customer, encounters Phil, make sure to tip him a little extra😌. Don't forget to tip all the other bartenders! They're doing a most wonderful job! With warmth, good humour and good nature.

Read morewhile visiting a few weeks ago i walked into Yer Mad cause i heard great things. i ordered a beer and when i got my change back not even 2 seconds went by while i try to put my wallet back together and the bartender in front of a full bar says real loud you have to tip me before you go. everyone started looking at me. i was like of course i’m going to tip you but give me at least a second to sort my stuff out. it was ridiculously unprofessional. i shoulda just said you just lost your tip. and he had such a look of disgust, looking at me up and down. terrible customer service by that bartender.
if anything he should’ve been nice. i’m american so of course i’m going to tip. we tip way more then most countries because we are used to our tipping culture
the look of the bar was cool but the service was the worst i had...
Read moreThe pub creates it's image by covering itself in football stickers. Guys with "love football hate racism" play fussboll while bartenders wear Antifa t shirts. My friends got refused service after singing a football song and a middle aged women complained (mainly as they didn't speak French). The barstaff then snatch half pourn drinks (paid for)back from the group and made a racist slur. Avoid **EDIT - I just noticed the owner of the bar replied with a bunch of lies about this. In no way were the group of people shouting abuse at people or middle aged women. A pathetic attempt to justify the pathetic behavior of their barstaff. The group did not answer back in insults as suggested by the owner who...
