Himawari Sushi — Restaurant in Moose Jaw

Our experience was bad. It was our first time eating there on Valentine’s day. We had reservation @ 6:45pm and we arrived 5 mins late because we came all they from Regina. It took about 30 mins to escort us to into our table. At first, we didn’t really care because it was busy. So we patiently waited. But since we had our reservations early, it shouldn’t took that long. The order taking was super slow. It took an hour for them to take our orders. We had to wait for another hour for our food to be served. We had to come down to check with the people on the front desk for follow up because nobody was coming to check. PS: it was already 9pm and they close @ 10pm. When they served our food it was cold. Especially the beef ramen. I expected so much and the quality was very poor feels like i was eating a cup of noodles from a dollar store. The server assisting us was very rude. There was a miscommunication with our bills and he was frustrated dealing it. We tried to explain it clearly so there’s no confusion. But instead of listening he cut us off and stopped us from talking. He didn’t know was he was doing. His lists for the bills was not in order. One of our friends had to tap 4 times for payment because he keeps insisting that she only paid once. But when my friend showed her bank transaction, it showed that she paid 3 times. Yet, he was still asking to pay one more because there was one item left that wasn’t paid. Then one lady server rolled her eyes to my one of my friend because she probably heard us arguing. Amazing Experience – Great Food & Atmosphere!

We had an incredible dining experience at Himawari Moose Jaw ! The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a special night out.

The karaage was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside—one of the best we’ve had! The California roll was fresh and well-balanced, and the tempura was light, crispy, and not greasy at all. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and clearly made with quality ingredients.

On top of the amazing food, the service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes. Definitely a great value for the quality you get.

Me and my friend visited this place and was amazed on how beautiful it is. Definitely an Asian vibe the moment you enter the place. They don’t offer all you can eat but bento boxes is a nice alternative

Pros: Amazing food! Food is tasty and flavourful, presentation and plating, stellar server checks once in a while what we are doing

Cons: I felt we got rushed because the waiter/cashier hand over the bill while we’re still eating.. I don’t know if they are closing or what but still, feels not right while you’re still eating. No explanation whatsoever why the bill was handed over 🤷🏻‍♀️ The server forgot the soy sauce and the soda that we ordered street parking doors seems confusing
