Same deal. When you think they have their staffing problems resolved and Covid has simmered down and the "late night window" is now open until 10pm, I thought that was the case, I was wrong. 20mins waiting, 2 vehicles pulled away just after I arrived, 10mins, nobody moved except the customers that did not want to wait. I pulled out the app and placed the order and paid for it while I waited. I work all overnights and set an alarm to get Wendy's before they closed.
When I finally get to the window, I can see in and see what they are doing. They are having a conversation, laughing and nobody is working-preparing food. I do not understand! How can your staff be standing around 10 mins before closing with customers in the drive -thru. Your employees have more important thing to do than serve customers? Disgusting is what it is. Disrespect. Some of us have jobs where we actually work and have to be there on time. 30min is what I have allotted out for a Wendy's and Tim's drive-thru before work. I am not fond of the food at McDonald's, but have gone there while you all were closing at 9pm, they got the service down pact. Your employees could learn a few things from them.
So tonight's order, same mistakes as always, but this time, I checked the bag....and handed it back for them to fix it. 10mins later, she hands it back and assures me she watched them make it and she guarantees it is correct. I take her word, because why would they tell you a bold faced lie? She lied, bigtime. I wish she was closer. They made no changes, except poking their fingers in the buns and flattening them. No napkins, no manners, and no receipt to use their feed-back form. So I will put it here instead.
I am sick of arguing with these dummies. The simplest task is beyond their abilities, they should not be in the service industry.
I paid for garbage and that's where it went. Now I have eight H-angry hours to complain about it. WENDY'S, 70 OLD PLACENTIA ROAD, Mount Pearl. Reach out, my number is on your answering machine I'll send you the pictures privately. It was the bold face liar who gave me this rage tonight! "She supervised it being made" said the liar. Seriously who is doing the hiring here? Did she think I wouldn't see that she was lying once I open the bag! Oh? Mmm, maybe it's like the Frosty machine, it closes a few hours before the store does, does the fryer shut down then too? Employees don't seem to work either.... Blood...
Read moreThis Wendy’s is the most unprofessional place I’ve ever been to. I have never gotten a correct order there and I’ve given them multiple opportunities. I have all the patience in the world for fast food employees and customer service employees as I am one myself but not for anyone in this Wendy’s. The staff is incredibly rude. Went there one night a few months ago and ordered burgers and fries, when the girl got on the speaker she was laughing with her coworkers and not listening to us what so ever. When we got to the second window they handed us our food while laughing about what I can only assume was the way they placed our food in the bag. We got home, one of the burgers were messed up which was typical of this Wendy’s already but what was more upsetting is the fact that they put our fries into the bag upside down which I can only assume was intentional and why they were laughing in the first place. I swore months ago I wouldn’t spend another dollar in the store after trying to contact the manager and failing to hear back from them. Well today when I was out with my family they decided they wanted Wendy’s and I reluctantly said yes but warned them of how terrible this place was. We got to the cash and my sister asked the guy if they had any gluten free options and his response was "I don’t know, look it up online". My sisters boyfriend ordered a taco salad and it was missing the chips. I ordered chicken fingers and fries because I assumed it was too easy to mess up, I was wrong. The food was either so old it was turning into rubber or it had been thrown in the microwave. My sister finally found something to eat there after having to go out of her way to find one thing on the menu she could eat because the rude boy on the cash couldn’t even nicely answer her question, it would be fine if he was unsure but he could have been a little more helpful. Overall this is seriously the worst place I have ever spent money and I would absolutely avoid...
Read moreI was disappointed today when my son came home after being at your restaurant in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland.
He had been at a tournament in the local area, an hour away from home home, and him, his friend, and his dad stopped in for lunch before getting on the highway to drive the hour home. They ended up waiting al.ost 15min for their orders, an older couple and a couple other customers experienced the same thing. The older couple complained after 4 or more door dash runners came in and got their orders and left, their orders only to be replaced by more door dash orders while the in store customers waited and waited. The tray for my son came up, fries were put on it, few mins later burgers, still waiting on chicken strips. By the time the strips were placed on the tray, and they were called up, the fries had gone completely cold. The older couple noticed what had happened and told the employee they should've replaced the kids fries only to be told, firmly, that they would most def not.
Why is it that the door dash orders were given priority over in store customers? Why were customers waiting longer than 15min? Why was orders given out not complete? Why, when the fact that a partial order, left on the counter to await the rest of the order, allowed to sit on the counter to get cold, and then when a customer, who paid for a hot order, refused its replacement?
I love Wendy's, and it was my suggestion the go there for lunch after all day in a tournament only for my son to come home and say mom don't ask me to go there again.
Very disappointed with the customer service at this particular store. My experience at other wendys locations was...
