Eggspectation — Restaurant in Mount Royal

Ooooooh MY GOD!!! Best BRUNCH I've ever have!!! I was visiting one of my closest friend in Montreal and she take me to this lovely spot when we have no idea of where to go for brunch, then she suddenly just grab me going and said : you definitely gonna love this place. And she's right! When we arrived I just LOVE everything there! The vibes are so great and staffs are warm and welcoming, especially the young lady, Sara, she's the one who help us decide what should have that day! Thanks to her suggestion, we have a glass of GREEN LIGHT and PERFECTLY PINK which I am a big fan of mint and my friend she's always in love with berries, every taste of our drink feel like a kick-starter of the day! Then we have SMOKED WILD SOCKEYE SALMON CROSTINI as starter while picking up MONTREAL PANINI and EGGSPECTATION CREPE for main dishes. First of all the floor wasn’t clean there was fries under our table. Second thing the food wasn’t good at all . I took house special hamburger to see there best and when we got it it was completely burned and we never said anything after I got my Montreal poutine with there special gravy sauce , but the sauce was worst then regular gravy sauce. The juice was good and fresh . And when we asked for the bill employé took 10 min to give us the bill. When we was making payment my friend didn’t wanted to add tips because he had to eat burned hamburger! And he insisted for the tip , I told him that it was burned and then he got angry so I add him a bit of tip in my bill . I was at a loss for breakfast and noticed Eggspectation from its well-presented exterior as I went on a morning stroll. I called in, and I could not have been more delighted. I was greeted immediately by welcoming, caring staff and seated for one of the most mind-blowing amazingly fresh and delicious meals of my life.

The chefs really know what they're doing. If you have any particular requests such as extra-crispy bacon, they're on it. If you're in a hurry, there's no delay, but I really suggest you stay here a while and savor the flavors.
