Souvlaki Bar Express - Rockland — Restaurant in Mount Royal

I don't usually post reviews but felt compelled to do so in this case. This is the worst souvlaki my wife and have ever had, ever! We have authentic souvlakis all over the Greek islands throughout our travels and during our stint living there .The tzatziki sauce was worse. Just writing about it brings on nausea! Rockland had a souvlaki place before their hippy dippy dolphin friendly renovations and it was good enough for a food court .

Souvlaki is a fairly easy food to prepare and eat. We buy souvlaki from Adonis and grill it at home in a regular manner.

To get over this awful experience we actually bought our souvlaki grilled it and ate it for 3 straight days . If you know what a souvlaki is and what it should be, do yourself a favor and stay away!

Only giving 3 star because when I order personally, the service is great and food is good. This time I ordered on skip and realized that there was an issue with my order, I said … maybe if I call the resto directly (number from google) they can resolve it??? Well.. I think I may have disturbed someone because the number that you call that’s on google.. is someone’s mobile number 😂 Anyways, I explained the situation and he clearly didn’t care (obviously) and just said I can’t do anything about it.

Meh, souvlaki stick (in pita) was pre-cooked, that's shameful. I'm fine waiting 10 or so minutes for a freshly grilled one, if you can't do that then don't offer it and stick to gyro which was btw just as awful. Pork in pita , the few pieces that were there (the pre cooked one I referenced above) was cold had and had no taste, tzatziki had zero garlic and no cucumber.
