Edo Japan — Restaurant in Nanaimo

I love coming to get food here whenever I'm in Nanaimo or Victoria it's absolutely delicious 😋 I love the teriyaki beef bowl meal (with rice and two extra sauce) I also tried the Mango Boba for the first time and I have to say I was pleasently surprised about how good it was it wasn't overly sweet and the jellys in it were absolute delicious way better then I was expecting since I'm usually not a big fan of jelly or gelatin but this was amazing 🤩 I applaud the chef 👏 the staff was amazing and nice 👍 love this place can't wait to eat here again! work at the mall often stop by to eat there on my breaks as its often the more healthy of the choices. But the woman who works the front counter there. about 20's in age. either asian or indian, is always rude, curt, and never friendly. always ask for a lid and chop sticks. often have to repeat myself multiple times. she was also kind of mean tot he new employee learning till there. haven't seem him since. hope he didn't quit because of her. otherwise the guys on grill are decent. always ask if i want extra terriyaki. 5 stars to the cooks. -5 to the woman...

I stopped for a delicious chop bowl and bubble tea. Unfortunately I left my wallet on the counter. Hours later I discovered that it was missing and returned to find they had kept it safely aside. I was so grateful for their thoughtfulness and their honesty! The two young ladies were very pleasant both in serving me initially and when returning my wallet to me.
