Going to Tim Hortons in the mall is like embarking on a great Canadian pilgrimageāexcept instead of enlightenment, you leave with a lukewarm double-double and a bagel that may or may not have been toasted in a past life.
First, the serviceāabsolute legends behind that counter. The line was long, but these folks were moving like Olympic sprinters, handing out Timbits like they were life-saving medical supplies. They even smiled while doing it, which, considering they work in a food court surrounded by the chaotic energy of teenagers and lost grandparents, is nothing short of heroic.
The food? Well, letās just say Tim Hortonsā culinary innovation peaked in the early 2000s. My bagel had the structural integrity of an old hockey puck, and my sandwich looked like it had been assembled by a particularly artistic toddler. But hey, we all know weāre really here for the coffeeāpredictable, comforting, and just the right amount of "eh, it'll do."
Would I come back? Absolutely. Not because of the food, but because of the people behind the counter who make the experience feel less like a routine mall stop and more like a small, caffeinated moment of joy. Plus, where else am I going to get my fix of āRoll Up the Rimā...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBack on Jan 30 2017 I found out through an employee who worked there that the assistant manager has been heavily slandering me out of that store towards his employee or more. A) I don't know him and vise versa B) I'm not friends with him never have C) it's not even remotely true
This is what we call slander. It's a form a defamation.
I have called a total of 6 times over the past 8 months to try and get ahold of ownership. I have left messages with staff including management to have owner contact me so we can resolve this and have it stopped but I have not recieved one phone call back.
I find this extremely hurtful and cruel and anyone else would have sued by now. I took my concerns to the police to file a police report and have also spoken to a lawyer.
Since I found out about this I have not been back once and I will never be back again. This location is clearly being run very poorly by management. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Being a customer of that location for 15 years. I will take my business elsewhere and so will my family and close friends.
Considering my options.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreShort on donuts and lady at night seems like she is doing us a favor. She can not even say thank you. I have been here many times with the same service on nights. I was hoping it was not just a one time thing. Smile, be friendly, please know the menu board and when ordering listen to the customer eg I ordered donuts cream or what ever filled donuts every single donut we got was old fashioned or a hole! ? Was this nessary? Management needs to ensure they have the items on the menu available. However this management issue is not this store alone. There are several stores do the very same thing! It needs to change! There is no reason for this what so ever! Behaviour! I dropped you down a star for not carring your proper menu. So i stopped again tonight samething...
