I am one of Gina’s number one fan! Can’t you tell? I have more pictures of Gina’s gelato, cookies, brownies, store!!
If people from other places would ask me what to visit, would always recommend Gina’s may it be, family, friends, colleagues, even strangers! Gelatos are AMAZING! If gelatos don’t contain lots of kcal I would eat them non stop!!!
I have been going to Gina’s when it was a baby store. Probably January of 2021 was my first visit, they were still serving their gelatos in a small paper cup and are probably selling 8-10 flavors(?) gina was the only one serving and making gelato. It was me and my friends from college getting a scoop even if it was winter 😅 we chatted and from there we were like her regulars. i think I had their stratciatella, it is TO DIE FOR!! I had a cookie as well, oh the COOKIE!! It was still the same CRUNCHY YET SOFT CHUNKIE FULL OF CHOCOLATEY COOKIE WHEN I LAST GOT THEM!! then little by little they expanded, they had cheesecake gelatos, brownies, they also had these beer flavored gelato one time and it was DELICIOUS!! Okay, okay, back to my review..
through the years, as the store was getting more and more famous, Gina was getting busy, she hired servers who can help her with the production! Kudos to all of you!
Now that I moved to different city, i miss gina. her gelato, and THE COOKIE (will be buying dozens when i visit!)

Read moreWow-- unlike any ice cream or gelato place I’ve been to. This is a place to experience-- way more of a place you interact with the staff and menu and less of a quick cone you might get elsewhere. Plan on spending at least a few minutes chatting with staff who obviously know the ingredients and are proud of what Gina is creating-- there’s even table service if you’re staying inside. Almost a restaurant atmosphere. Super well done vintage vibe with values to match (everything here is made from absolute scratch by Gina right in the kitchen— think pouring milk, cracking eggs, using local chocolate, local coffee, local spirits and beer, etc. just like in the old days, with music and decor to reflect those times). Really impressive. In addition to the gelato, I’ve had the handmade sodas, afogatto, espresso, and their (super super) good cookies. Staff is incredibly friendly and want you to enjoy what you get - make sure to take them up on the tasters! Excited to come back when I’m in town next to see what else they’ve...
Read moreGina’s Gelato … I highly recommend! It has a definite "earlier- era" atmosphere, very cool. The employees wear cute old-fashioned aprons and are friendly and helpful as they explain the ingredients for each item. It is an authentic gelato without all the extra sugary overkill that comes with ice cream-it was very delicious. I was surprised by the unique drinks and bakery goods you cannot find anywhere else. The spice cake was scrumptious and had a light glazed frosting. My favorite gelato was the strawberry; it was amazing because she uses all fresh ingredients. The peach shrub drink was the first shrub drink I’ve ever had and I really liked it. If you have not tried a shrub drink, try it; you will be pleasantly surprised. I love how Gina really takes the time to make her products healthy and delicious-especially since it’s made with ingredients you can trust. I will definitely return when I come back to Canada! Thank you, Gina and staff, you are all...
