3rd visit since coming to Oromocto in 2002, swore after 1st two visits I would never go back but I did on 28 Dec 2016, this will be my last time, 3 visits and never recd what I ordered, wife ordered Szechwan Chicken dish, recd beef instead, I ordered a Cantonese Chow Mein dish with noodles, shrimp, chicken, lobster, only problem dish was missing the lobster, the steamed vegetables were so hot couldn't eat, also ordered 2 egg rolls which never showed up either, food that was recd was bland, just like previous 2 visits, no taste, couldn't finish what we recd, only good thing that came out of this trip, I didn't have to pay. Waitress said she normally works in back and was only filling in for regular waitress, apologized, and that was that, nothing more, there was only 3 other customers in the place at the time and some take out orders, don't know why they couldn't get this right. You know what, just stay in Oromocto and go to Buffet to Go and you’ll find authentic delicious Chinese food cooked by chefs from Hong Kong. Lee’s Garden is a complete and utter insult to be considered a Chinese restaurant as nothing they serve here is even remotely Chinese. I get it when you serve Western Chinese food but your fried rice literally contains rice that’s mixed with dark soya sauce and nothing else!? Really? Not even a sprinkle of green onions or parsley or cilantro? Nothing? Dishes were colorless and bland as heck. If it wasn’t because of bad karma, we would have thrown away the food. Read moreWe were excited that the buffet was back after years of it being closed. I don't know if the business has changed hands again, or just cooks. The food was terrible. The coffee machine does not work, the pop was room temperature. The meats in all dishes were rubbery, grisly and fat. The rib I had was all bone and grisle.The batter in the chicken balls was doughy, and the chicken itself dried put and tough. The sweet and sour pork was all batter and like rubber. The seasonings in all dishes has changed and they have next to no flavour. The homemade eggrolls were well packed in the middle, with large sections on either end with no filling. They were hard.
