Oromocto Pizza & Donair — Restaurant in New Brunswick

I ordered two large 2 topping pizzas (pepperoni and bacon), and they were pretty good. The crust was fair, a little tough but still quite edible. The sauce was good, very similar to Pizza hut, maybe slightly sweeter. The pepperoni was quite good, not paper thin not stuffed with fat. The bacon crumbles could have been a bit thicker, this would have given more of a more fulfilling bacon flavor but would have also added more grease. The cheese was also fair, while there was a good amount of cheese, it could have contained more milk fat. This would have made the cheese much more stringy. Overall when you compare the cost of the pizza to the quality of the toppings you get a pretty good deal. I'll definitely order from them again, though I might increase the amount...

We ordered 2 large pizzas and 2 garlic breads. AWFUL! I'm not even sure the garlic bread had cheese even though they said it did. Was so dry and like chewing on Jerky. The sauce for the garlic bread was terrible, overly sweet, clumpy, and felt/smelt like someone puked in a cup and called it good.

Pizza was so dry and tough, big slices and lots of toppings, though. I'm not sure any amount of dipping sauce would help.

The person I spoke to on the phone (both to order and then complain) was very nice and had no issues there. Offered to make a pizza themselves next time, which I politely declined as I won't be back unless something changes. They let me know they would pass the message along to a manager or owner.

I noticed someone criticizing the shawarma with the comment, "who puts fries and pickles in a shawarma?" I Feel it is appropriate to answer this question. "Every single street vendor of Shawarma in Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon." So yeah, having an actual authentic shawarma here was amazing. It tasted exactly the way it was supposed to, so thanks.

As for pizza, this is truly the best classic Pizzeria pizza around. If you're looking for the east coast sweet marinara, bready pizza this isn't it. Go to Pizza Delight if you want that. This is the pizza the ninja turtles were scarfing while murdering foot soldiers and it is frickin amazing comfort food. Class A+ New York Pizzeria...
