Sour Grape — Restaurant in New Brunswick

This place is a god-sent for those of us on base! Coffee, snacks and internet access become very important when you don't have them in your barracks. The staff are lovely people, very friendly.

Many of the soldiers from the local base come here for the free wifi. The connection speed is good for a public access point. Most importantly, there are plenty of outlets to charge your devices. Many places with wifi do not provide electricity. At the Sour Grape, I can do a big pile of work on my laptop without concern for the battery.

There are always several interesting coffee flavours to choose from and many delicious baked goods to go with them. They also do some good breakfast options and light lunches. I am a fan of the breakfast sandwiches on weekends.

This hidden gem in Ormocto is absolutely amazing. Friendly staff, fast service and delicious food and coffee. He had Banana coffee and loved it so much we are picking up two bags of ground coffee tomorrow before we depart town. The coffee beans are roasted and flavoured in store. He had chili with a cheese tea biscuit and he loved it. I had the Cozy Winters Night Coffee and loved it. I also had a breakfast sandwich on a bagel with egg, cheese and ketchup. All of our stuff was hot and delicious. Extremely affordable. Our entire order including pre paying for our two bags of coffee to pick up tomorrow came to $34.00. Undeniably the best place to get home made food, coffee and now BEER in Oromocto, and arguably in the capital region. Coffee is roasted here, and there is a good selection of non-caffeinated beverages. The wide variety of dessert is astounding There is definitely something here someone will like, even the picky eater. There are also breakfast sandwiches, lunch wraps, pananis, nachos and quesadillas.
