There is nothing fancy about this restaurant or food, but if you just enjoy basic ‘Chinese food’ the price point is good and the food tastes pretty good as well. They are really set up for take out, but you can dine in if you choose, although the inside of the restaurant is pretty basic, and not overly inviting. We like the C12 with an extra spring roll. The staff are pleasant. The turn around from call to pick up is pretty quick, ~20 minutes. Easy to park as well, being in a plaza. You usually see a steady stream of customers coming and going so that usually is a good indicator of the food quality. We have tried other similar spots in Alliston but always end up back at China Wok.

Went to China Wok in Alliston today because we were craving some crab rangoons. Although they didn’t have exactly what we wanted, they did have crab and cheese wonton’s which were decent. The wonton was soft from underneath and crunchy from the top, so not quite cooked to how I would’ve liked and it was a lot more cheese than crab in the wonton. Also, when we asked for a singular small packet of sweet and sour sauce, the guy working up front stated it was $2.50, which is a bit ridiculous for 1 packet. Not quite pleased with the customer service or the food.

Went here last week, ordered take out as well. The take out was not good. I feel when the food gets cold from this place it tastes really bad. This time they made it fresh and i quite enjoyed it. The food was warm, cooked to perfection, and they put allot of effort into it. I would go back to dine in. The place could use a touch up, it looks depressed. The man behind the counter is not very helpful, seems he doesn't care or too busy to care but this place does have allot of potential. the price is fair.

This by far was the WORST Chinese food myself & my entire family have ever eaten!!!!! I couldn't believe how much we had to pay, the staff would only let us change 2 items in the largest dinner option , and with the amount of food we were ordering I feel they could have allowed us to make a few more changes in the items. Then when I went to pick up our order I wasn't greeted by one friendly person!! But the worst experience about ordering from China Wok was their food!! Omg there wasn't one item that we ordered that tasted good!! We ended up throwing up 90% of our food, and I order was over $100... I have never wasted that much food, but it was that bad 👎 I will NEVER order from this place again, and I have definitely not recommended it to anyone , the complete opposite, we have actually warned friends & family to NOT go to China Wok. I would love to know if anyone knows of a GOOD Chinese place to order from in the general area? We just moved to Everett and we're big Chinese food fans , but we definitely not had a good experience trying this place 😩 Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! We will absolutely NOT returning...

Not recommend! Extremly unprofessionally. The first time I ordered it was a difficult progress as they didn’t seem familiar with their own menu and were quite rude (where the lady raises her voice unnecessarily). However food was okay (6/10- not as fresh as other places but okay). The second time (and now my final time), very unprofessional. The lady who picked up was unfamiliar with the menu. When asking about a specific size (how many people a specific meal feed), she raised her voice and repsonded “look, the container is from the dollar store! It’s a platter!” and then I was all of a sudden speaking with a male (without warning), he was however able to clarify specifics. When completing my order I was forwarded to the lady once again. When adding an additional item, I asked for further clarification on prices as the menu does not include prices. She followed in raising her voice and responded “I don’t understand why you are asking me this!”. I immediately decided to end the call. Unfortunately these two times led to very unsatisfactory experiences and would strongly recommend to not purchase...

My husband and I always do take-out when we order. We had just moved to Alliston from Brampton and a salesman from one of our utilities gave us the name of China Wok when we asked for a recommendation from him (he was actually from Everett if I remember correctly). We tried it out and were quite pleased with the food and service. In fact, we used to frequently visit the Mandarin restaurant’s Head Office/Flagship restaurant for our ‘Chinese’ food since it was very close to where we lived in Brampton. China Wok’s food is very similar in both taste and quality as the above named restaurant. We tried the Mandarin restaurant in Barrie and it was far below the quality of China Wok so you can make your own choice. I say ‘Eat Local’ and...
