I had a very disgusting, hurtful, and offensive experience at this McDonald’s — not just once, but twice, at the same location.
As a vegetarian for religious reasons, I ordered an Egg and Cheese sandwich, but on both occasions, they gave me a sandwich containing bacon — which is completely unacceptable and deeply disrespectful to my faith and personal values.
The first time, I had already driven 5–10 kilometers away and was about to eat the sandwich. I trusted them, assuming that if I clearly ordered Egg and Cheese, that’s exactly what I would get. But just before eating, I noticed it didn’t smell right, so I decided to check the inside — and to my shock, it had a slice of bacon. I was lucky I checked, otherwise I would have eaten something that goes completely against my religion. I had to drive all the way back to the store, and they apologized, claiming I had ordered an Egg McMuffin — which I absolutely did not. I always order Egg and Cheese only.
Today, I returned, thinking it wouldn’t happen again. I ordered Egg and Cheese with a regular hot coffee, and I confirmed my order TWICE at the order window: “Egg and Cheese, right?” They said yes. Still, I was given bacon again in the sandwich.
To make matters worse: • The coffee was cold, and I had to ask for it to be replaced. • I was made to wait 10–15 minutes at the window just for this simple order.
When I brought this to their attention, the woman at the window — Vidya, who claimed to be the store manager — started assuming me of ordering an Egg McMuffin, instead of listening. I even asked them to check the order recording if they have one, because I am certain of what I said and what I ordered. Still, they refused to take accountability just left by Saying “SORRY”.
What if I hadn’t checked again today? Who would have been responsible if I had accidentally eaten bacon because of their mistake?
This is more than just poor service — it’s a serious violation of trust, and completely insensitive toward customers’ religious and dietary needs.
I am deeply hurt, offended, and done with this location. I demand strict action, or I will be left with no choice but to seek legal advice. This is completely unacceptable and...
Read moreThis location is always so clean- I see staff cleaning windows, mopping up floors and making sure the dining area is clean. The staff is very friendly, making sure to greet everyone, but they are also quick.
I visit this location quite often to grab my morning coffee. It's usually the same lady at the counter (unfortunately I cannot recall her name), and she is actually the one that lately has been ruining my experience at this location. The last few times i have gone I have witnessed her either being rude, or just not doing her job. Usually she is on the cash, therefore on a particular visit she had her back turned to the cash making coffee, even when I said good morning, she continued to make coffee ignoring me. Another day that same week, she again was on cash and instead of focusing on the line-up of people, she was talking/hugging a fellow employee (I guess they hadn't seen each other in awhile). Today, a younger gentleman was on cash and this lady was making coffee. He must have been in training because he was asking her how he could help and what he should do next since there was no line-up, she rudely told him that she had it handled and for him to stay where he was, not to interrupt her because she was doing something and she would say something if she needed help. Usually I brush rudeness/attitude off because I know that sometimes you are just having a bad day, or maybe it was a one-off situation, but this has been continuous and often enough for me to witness it several times. Her behavior and attitude as mentioned is clouding the great friendly reputation this McDonalds location has and I think something needs to be done about her. Her continued rudeness is actually making me reconsider visiting the Tim Hortons across the street instead. Please remind your staff, specifically her, the importance of...
Read moreLook, it's a McDonald's so I am not expecting world class food, but the issues with this particular McDonald's goes beyond food quality. Slow wait times for anything other than a drink, it's 15 minutes to get any meal a lot of the time. There has been multiple times I ordered something like nuggets and there would be 2 missing or fries half filled up (this doesn't sound like a big deal but it's not cheap anymore to go to McDonald's so I would like to at least get what I paid for). The staff either just don't care or aren't trained well (which may not be their fault).
The last time I was there really annoyed me. I ordered 10 nuggets, I tapped my card at the first window and pulled up. The lady said it didn't go through at the second window, I checked my credit card app and saw the McDonald's purchase there and showed them the charge. They called over the manager, and I said if you can give me a receipt that says it didn't go through I will pay again but if I get charged twice and I have no receipt, what do I do? They barely even looked for the receipt before just handing me the bag of food. It all just seemed sketchy, I dunno if there was a problem with their system but I felt acused by the way it was all handled when all I did was tap my card, I am not going to pay twice without proof it did not go through (a basic request) which was obviously the right move since I have been charged accordingly on my card...
