Pita Pit — Restaurant in New Tecumseth

I often come to this Pita Pit Location for Lunch/Dinner etc. Not a single time have I had a bad experience with this location.

The owner is incredibly aware of their service & food and goes to great lengths to ensure of their quality time and time again. I've frequented this location for over 7 years, not a single time have I had anything negative to say about this location, the staff, or the food that they serve.

As I go to other food service locations or restaurants, I never necessarily enjoy the meal that I'm getting, I simply think that what I'll have will be better than having a Pita. I often find myself to simply be incorrect.

Pita Pit Alliston continues to be handled by incredible staff, a fantastic and welcoming owner and serving delicious pita's each and every single day.

They will do anything they possibly can in order to have your order ready for when you come by and when they don't have an ingredient on hand that you order? They CALL and let you know about it....Not a SINGLE restaurant in years has called me besides them for an order, other food services simply JUST don't tell me until I get home and I find out "Why am I missing this item I definitely ordered and paid for".

Take out only. Read COVID-19 and comply with instructions, on front doors, before entering. Had a small falafel that was made with tlc and it was great! Pita Pit steams the pita bread, briefly, for ease of opening and encouraging flexibility for filling and rolling. As your chopped falafel balls warm on the grill, you choose from a variety of veggies, cheeses and fruit (olives and pineapple) to delight your tastebuds. Add any one or more of the available sauces. Now the warmed, chopped falafel is added...a slight shake allows the fillings to better sit in the pita pocket. Tuck the flap while gently compacting the filling behind it, roll until other flap meets with roll. Wrapped in parchment paper for ease of peel and eat. My husband ordered from here for dinner tonight via door dash. I ordered a rice bowl, he ordered a pita, and we added on halloumi sticks and a garlic aioli dip. Our dasher texted to inform pita pit had no rice even though they feature rice bowls on their website. So I ordered a salad instead. When the salad arrived there was no dressing on it even though I had ordered ranch with my rice bowl. I also rdered avocado on it and the avocado was dark brown when it arrived. Between that amd the no dressing this salad was barely edible. The halloumi sticks were not bad however we did not get our dip. Additionally, door dash had a pro.o where you get a free item when you order over $20 (which we did) and we did not get any extra items. I also ordered a bottled beverage that was severely dented when it arrived. Looked like it was kicked around a bit. I've had good luck with other pita pits in the past but I cannot and do not...
