I ordered my sons Italian Rum birthday cake from here. The cake had no rum in it and the cake sponge tasted like it was stored in the freezer for a while. It didn't taste fresh at all. The layers are not even. (Picture attached) On a more recent occasion, I ordered a variety of pastries and the eclairs shell tasted the same, as if it was stored in the freezer for a while and they just add fresh filling when it's time to sell. The whip cream filling wasn't tasty. Disappointing. The sfoglia pastry was large, delicious and fresh. The lemon squares were tiny, fresh and tasty. The price for the size was ridiculous though. The cannoli's still taste delicious, this is the only thing I've had from here that's been consistent in quality over the years.

Mama Mia! Wow! A taste of Italy 🇮🇹, in Alliston, Ontario, Canada 🍁! What a fantastic experience! Loved the food and their passion they take to make it! As Ofcourse their service! Always served fresh and well well prepared to meet my hungry demands! 😂 Rosi, even prepared a little rice ball for my little one, and it was phenomenal! Try everything on the menu, as this is homemade, the servect really is in their sauce! Get there early as the pizza and lasagna sell out super fast! 🔥 🔥 🔥 Until next time, Ciao!

Don’t know what you want for dinner! Stop in to Rocco’s and his sisters will take care of your every need. Their fridge is always fully stocked with ready to bake Italian delicacies and you can’t leave without a 1/2 dozen Cannoli! One of my favourite places to stop in Alliston to grab treats for my kids. When I walk into the house with those Rocco’s boxes in hand my kids are happy to see me again...lol

Had an amazing experience at Rocco's today. My first time going - stopped in for some lunch since it's right beside the driving school!

The food was fabulous (literally the BEST garlic bread with cheese I've ever had.. so yummy) and the gnocchi was delicious and made from scratch.

I was offered a coffee while I waited for my food, and had a lovely chat with Diane, who is very sweet. Honestly, the sisters are the best part of this place! The atmosphere is welcoming as heck, Rosie is a HUGE character, she had me laughing and was so engaging. You can tell she's passionate about the food she makes. Honestly meeting these two were the best part of my day!

I found the lady at the counter to be a wonderful woman who knows how to hold a great conversation! This is becoming a lost art nowadays and being on the road, living away from home for years on end, its always nice to talk to a motherly figure who seems genuinely concerned not only with giving you some good food, but how you, yourself are and how life in general is going. I ordered a meatball sandwich and a rice ball ( love me some rice balls! haha) and naturally it took a bit of time to make, but the time flew as I became engrossed in conversation,. The food was as I expected, down home Italian cooking, tasted great and good value for the money.I will be back for sure. Thank...
