Today, Wendy's lost a lifelong customer for a lifetime. I will never go back to any Wendy's ever again. Today in the drive through I ordered a chicken sandwich. The order on the screen came out to $8.46. I went to the window and tapped the debit machine which also came to $8.46. Just a few moments later a different clerk suddenly came to the window and said that my card didn't go through. I hesitated a moment, doubting her. I tapped the card again, but this time I noticed the debit machine said $9.03.. it was too late, I had already tapped. I got my sandwich and immediately pulled over in front of the shop. I checked my banking app right away and sure enough, I was charged $8.46 and $9.03 back to back. I went inside to speak to a clerk. The two female clerks and male manager were already huddled in the corner with their backs to me. After a minute or so, one of the clerks approached me with the manager slinking in behind and I showed her my banking app and explained to her that she just double charged me. Without words, they both went back to the corner where the till is and discussed something. After a couple minutes, one of the clerks returned to me with cash and change coming out to $8.45 and gave it to me with an excuse I don't believe. I took the money and left, knowing that I will never return. It all felt very shady and I lost trust and confidence in the staff there. My hope is that they don't do this to other people and that it was an honest mistake, but my instinct tells me otherwise.. and I always trust my instinct. Please, if you go to Wendy's Alliston, don't allow them to double charge you. Think before you swipe again. I have been a loyal Wendy's customer. I frequent the establishment once or twice each week, but never again will Wendy's get a dollar from me. Maybe it's for the best anyway as I search for a healthier...

I ordered a large fry and a bacon Poutine and I got 2 medium fry’s. I went back and reordered my bacon poutine and large fry I got a baked potato and a large fry then the third attempt I tried to explain to the pay window I got the wrong order he said I can’t help you so I drove up to the 2nd window and they handed me my corrections without checking if I payed this was the second time having drive thru problems in 2 weeks at this location definitely will be going elsewhere that actually gives you the food you order I would have added a picture of my transaction record but they don’t even give you a copy P.S this is only an Alliston location issue other Wendy’s have no problem with...

I pull into the drive-thru behind the vehicle getting their order taken at 7:53, and then I pull forward to be told "hi unfortunately we're closed", I ask what time they close and she says 8... I said "well it's not 8 yet". I couldn't believe the girl said "okay well then we close at 7:55", and as I say "it's not 7:55 yet" the clock changes and she says "ya it is" and shuts the speaker off.
What an awful experience, and now because everyone else in front of me is getting served and I obviously don't want to wait in the line, I have to get out and tell the person behind me to back up and to his confusion as well, I tell him they're for some reason closed now.
