This location is perfect for warming up during winter time. It is spacious with many tables for customers to have a cup of coffee or tea. I wouldn't say their coffee is top notch but during winter time it is a perfect space to warm up. In the same plaza there are two daycares, so if your little ones are just starting and getting used to it (lots of crying, lots of emotions) this restaurant/store is nice to wait there for an hour or so before picking up your cuties. Beside coffee and tea, they sell lots of pasta, coffee, sweets, sausages and they cook pizza! (haven't tried it yet). And lastly their bread is really yummy! Recommended place to visit.

Great local italian cafe/restaurant to grab-and-go for lunchšŸšŸ•ā˜•ļø šŸ“Located in the Natures Emporium plaza at Yonge and Savage My absolute fave is the rosĆØ penne pasta 🤤It’s so saucy and soOoOo good šŸ’• Second fave is the Greek salad w. chicken šŸ„—šŸ“ This place also makes a bomb cappuccino šŸ‘ŒšŸ½ The staff are always super warm and friendly which adds to the experience. There’s tables and chairs inside for seating, however I personally just always get my food to go. Will definitely be back to try some of the sandwiches šŸ™ƒ

Molisana Bakery is a great family operated Italian bakery that serves a great hot table and pizzas with take home pastas, breads and sauces in the bakery side. Gets a little busy at lunch time but the lines keeps moving. Tables are first come first serve so harder for larger groups during peak times.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a restaurant like back in the hood!!!!! Don't even try to tell me Mercato has food like from back home, or nonnas or at your zias. TOTAL BS! nice try, items are imitation and TASTELESS!!! Anyway, this review is not about them.. it's about the Gem in Newmarket. Little birdie I'm related to Joe M, recommended Molisana after I told him about the dry canolis and the tasteless pasta. not to mention the single dried pieces of la rocca cake nicely displayed in the windwo. blah

Anyhow... i had a craving, i was driving by and made the stop. Picked up a few favourites but why did i not get more!!! coz I'm patsa patsa!!! Honestly the rose shells tasted like nona Elisabetta on Vaughan Road and the chick parm with no sauce was cooked to perfection. it wasn't super rubbery and the spices were fantastic. I saw the 5, maybe 6 pizzas sitting on top. Guys,,, this really reminded me of where I grew up. at Dufferin and St Clair having all kinds of actual home made options. And you just HAD TO HAVE Maids cottage tarts. I live two blocks from them. Anyhow, I will be there tomorrow and the day again. If Joe was closer it would be a close call. Tomorrow i'm trying one of those pizza. like how the sauce wasn't oozing. Or mayabe i will ask you to leave the red sauce out. I work for a gour pf 5000. We need to talk.... word has go to get out to my staff. No more running to metro to get their hot items, or, pizza from Natures Emporium. Pizza has to come from the Italian guy at Molisana. You start making almond croissants on steroids and apple fritters the size of the bus and I will never go to maple again. I love newmarket and this find make me feel i was in heaven. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I need to...

I have loved Molisanos for over 20 years now! But lately some of the staff's customer service skills seem to be lacking. Today I went in and asked for a small side of the caesar that comes with a meal, but was told that was IMPOSSIBLE. I responded that its not impossible since the manager did it for me last time and made a price for it. The staff again told me it was IMPOSSIBLE that that occurred. I was there and it did occur thank you. I asked if the manager was there and she said he was busy making calls but she could check with him, which she then ignored me. I wasn't only getting salad, I also got a full lasagna, garlic bread and sauce.

The previous time I was there, we ordered 2 chicken parm dinners. I have ordered this same order for 20 years. They always ask if you want sauce and cheese on the chicken. I always say yes. But this is the first time they charged an extra $3 per meal for this. Why ask and then not tell the customer you are going to charge an additional fee? I tried to say I've never been charged for this before but she didn't listen. I asked her how I'm supposed to order the meal next time if I don't want to be charged additional fees and she said just ask for plain chicken. Lol, the meal is called a CHICKEN PARM MEAL, so shouldn't it include the basics aka sauce and cheese. I don't mind paying their rising prices for good food but additional fees and the lack of customer service skills FOR SOME is...
