Daybreak 68 davis drive — Restaurant in Newmarket

I hadn’t been here before because I rarely have an opportunity to go out for breakfast but this morning I had a craving for a bacon and egg sandwich so decided to give them a try. I called and ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I didn’t ask the price, I figured it would be 8 or 9 bucks. When I showed up to pick it up I was shocked when the gave the price of almost 14 dollars. I blamed myself for not asking first, paid my bill (even left a tip) took my sandwich and headed out. 5 mins later I open the sandwich to find…egg, cheese, and mystery meat. Definitely not bacon. I figured I had paid for it so I might as well try it. I tried to take a bite but it all fell apart with some of my mystery meat ending up on the floor of my car. The meat turned out to be a gristly piece of steak. Not meant for a sandwich regardless. Lots of issues here today and maybe other people like it, but I won’t...

Ordered food.. got home and noticed this packed in my bag! I called immediately & the cashier said she packed it by "accident." Issue didn't get resolved. She hung up and wouldn't answer when I called back. She has poor customer service. First off how does this not get thrown away immediately? You literally watch what you pack. How was this even prep'd in the bag. The excuse was ridiculous. Myself and others I know often get food from this location and this lady always seems rude. She said to drive back for toast.. no (waste of my time and gas) She said the manager was not in and that the manager would not compensate for her mess up if I was to bring it to her attention. Felt disrespected when I spent a lot of money...

Good day y’all! This morning I chose to have breakfast at daybreak and I got here at opening time, already a lady sitting with coffee! I then got a warm greeting from the server Marilyn whom felt like a long lost aunt & awesome chef, I sat down and felt absolutely cozy in my booth, with all the breakfast condiments such as peanut butter, different jams to my side, I ordered the 3 eggs w/meat and the fries were seasoned beautifully and toast had a good amount of butter + coffee (with refill) came to $14.28!
