McDonald's — Restaurant in Newmarket

The lunch menu starts at 11am and I came 4 minutes early through the drive thru and they were so angry about it. They told me to leave and come back in 4 minutes. I told them, I have no problem waiting as every time I come to this location, I have to drive through, pay, and wait on the side so they can pretend their drive thru times are better than they are. I know this because I have worked in fast food so I never complain. I expected to make my order and wait on the side like I normally do after all I'm on a few minutes early. Instead, they were upset about it and told me it was going to affect their times. That doesn't make sense as I have worked fast food before and as long as I go through the drive thru and park their times would be ok. They acted as if I came 30 minutes early. I felt as if they were just trying to get rid of me and hope I don't come back so less work for them. After I paid, the lady at the pickup window didn't even greet me, just waived at me to go park. All that fuss for a couple of junior chickens that they put old lettuce in. They even gave me a hard time about a measly sweet and sour sauce. We went there to order a meal for dine-in. After ordering through the inside machine (tablet), we reached a table but a lady named Kathryn (manager) told us that the dine-in is already closed. I told her that it’s 8:30 p.m. and dine-in should be available until 10 p.m. according to the working hours on the wall and she replied we are short staffed today (4 or 5 staffs were there that night). When we asked her why other people are still sitting there and why you are changing the schedule on the wall, she repeated herself 3 times that the dive-in is closed is an aggressive manner. We did not want to argue so we left after getting the order but the way she behaved was really inappropriate. After getting into the car, I realized that she gave me a wrong order. I came back to the door but they did not open the entrance door after I rang the bell 3 times. I went to drive-through and told her about the mistake but she grabbed the order out of my hands and threw it in the garbage bin and asked me to wait for my order at another window. I did not expect any of this incident from a McDonald’s. Although I am a long time customer, I will not get back...

When we went to this McDonalds the washrooms were disgusting!! Too dirty that I wouldn't use them!! Also as I looked around at the tables they were mostly dirty and when I mentioned it to the cashier he didn't say anything to anyone while I stood there waiting for our food!! I actually would have rated it a zero but you can't on this scale!! I also heard an employee telling the supervisor that out back of the building that it was a mess and the supervisor said that she hasn't had time to go out and check it!!

I was under the impression that the washrooms were to be checked on a regular basis but I guess not at that restaurant!!

I'm concerned as we bought our food and then observed these other things so I hope we don't get food poisoning also!!

I asked for extra lettuce for my daughter's burger as You still haven't gotten gluten free buns yet and she got a regular piece and then one about 1 1/2 inch in diameter!! So then I had to go back and ask for more!!

As I said before I would rate my experience at this McDonald's to at least a zero maybe even lower than that!!
