I passed by this location tonight, after working a 12 hour shift. I had a mobile order, which was placed prior to getting to the restaurant. By the time I got to the speaker, my order had already been placed for about 15 minutes. I got to the speaker and was greeted (using that term loosely) by a male saying 'hello'. I advised him that I have a mobile order, to which he responded 'yeah yeah give me a second', and he disappeared. I waited it out, 5 minutes went by, nothing, 6 minutes went by, nothing, finally, I figured he had just forgotten (as I have worked in fast food, and I know once you press on the headset to speak, it no longer beeps in your ear, so you can happen to forget). After waiting over 5 minutes, I simply said 'hello', and gave him around 30 seconds to acknowledge me ... no one responded. After not being responded to, I just drove up to the window. When I got to the window, there was another car at the window, where the 'manager' was having an altercation with. Once it was my turn, I came to the window, to which I was greeted by an extremely rude man saying 'yes?' with an extremely confused face. I had told him 'yes, I am the mobile order, you did not respond after telling me to wait more than 5 minutes'. He then became a complete jerk, with an extreme amount of attitude saying to me 'did I ask you to come up?'. I politely said 'sir I was waiting there for over 5 minutes, and said hello to which you did not respond to, so I drove up'
He continued to become more aggressive and disrespectful, telling me I needed to wait until he told me to come up, etc, etc.
I was kind with him at first, but after he became disrespectful, I simply asked him to instead just cancel my order. He told me he could not do that because he already accepted it, and told me to do it on the app. I attempted to cancel the order from the app, and it gave me an error, to which I advised him of and his response was 'well yeah its because I have already accepted the order'. If you are not respectful, you do not deserve respect back. So yes I did become disrespectful back with him, I asked him for his name, he gave his name in a very quick manner, and when I asked him to spell it for me as it was a foreign name to me, he very rude and aggressively said 'you're educated you can figure it out'. He then pulled out his phone and started recording me asking if 'this is how I want to handle things'. I said sir I am in MY car, not in the restaurant, you have no business filming me for any reason. He continued to be disrespectful and rude for absolutely no reason. This man was disrespectful towards me from the second I interacted with him. I asked him if he was the manager he asked me why it matters, I advised him because I would like to be sure who it is that I am referring to when I contact your customer service line. To which he responded 'it does not matter you can just reference the store number'. I asked him again if he was the manager, and he said that he was (can't imagine that someone this disrespectful and rude is a store manager). I asked him again for his name to be spelt, and he refused and once again told me to just reference the store number as he does not need to 'repeat his name more than once'.
This was the most disgusting behaviour I have ever experienced in customer service, let alone from a so called manager.
Judging from the reviews within the last few months, I can assume everyone with a review referencing a 'man' is referring to this same individual. His behaviour is atrocious, and I do not understand how he is still employed there after reading all of...
Read moreI was ripped off here by the cashiers tonight. I love Wendy's but this location is a consistent disappointment. Tonight was the absolute WORST. Simple order: 2 double bacon deluxe sandwiches. Three times, I caught them trying to charge me over $35 dollars for my order! They added food I never ordered to my bill! Finally I thought they understood: 2 sandwiches, as I described above. After making one wrong, and remaking it, they bring me my sandwiches and apologize for the experience so far (I appreciate that), and tell me they gave me two free large fries to make up for it. After taking the bag, I ask for my receipt, and I saw the look of fear on my server's face. Now, at home with my food, I see why: I was charged for a large fries I never ordered!! And these fries are not even fresh?? Disgusting!! I love Wendy's but this is beyond offensive!! THIS LOCATION NEEDS SOMEONE FROM HEAD OFFICE TO COME AND TEACH THE STAFF WHAT WENDY'S QUALITY IS SUPPOSED TO MEAN!! Please!! How dare they blatantly fleece customers Like that?! In my decades of Wendy's loyalty, I've come to respect Wendy's for it's high quality; it's inconceivable to me that any Wendy's restaurant should so blatantly and purposefully take advantage of a customer like I was today. And this was after reluctantly giving this location another chance, after two previous bad experiences including one with burgers that were raw (pink) in every patty, and another where my burgers came with an ingredient on them which I had requested they omit due to my allergic reaction I would have. They should at least get it right most of...
Read moreWent to the drive-through this evening to grab a salad after a nice workout and spent three minutes in the drive through window trying to understand very poor English speaking skills advising me that they are unable to take my order because of an Uber order coming in? I believe that's what I received from the conversation. unfortunately it doesn't seem like Wendy's has any remaining standards for proficiency or at least basic communication skills in the English language.
I'm all for supporting immigration and hiring newcomers, however when it comes to unemployment that requires communication I believe Wendy's should maintain a level of standard for proficiency in the English language.
Anyway, I ended the conversation and I proceeded to drive away from the empty drive-through and as I passed by the window I saw another person getting handed their order so I'm not quite sure why within the span of a few minutes they are unable to take my order due to an Uber order Coming in.
Very disappointing and I'm sure that the Wendy's franchise owner of this location would like to be made aware that they turned away a customer with an empty restaurant due to what I believe to have made out to be another Uber order coming in at the time.
Anyway, I am now proceeding to a Wendy's in another city to purchase my salad as I really do like the food however the management/customer service at this location will ensure I never return again and I highly recommend not spending effort to come to this location unless you're...
