I donât understand how this restaurant is a 4.7/5 on Google. - Thatâs the main reason I came to try it today. The other pho restaurants that I have tried and know are good are only 4.5-4.6. I was hoping to be impressed. But I am completely underwhelmed.
I ordered the special P21 pho. Taste: broth was too sweet. Noodles: felt like they pre-cooked it and had it in the fridge and the staleness made it go hard. Meats: small portions Overall: 1/5
The price is fine, at 17$ for a large. But I wasnât hungry and I wanted to share with a friend plus order an appetizer; so I first ordered an extra bowl of noodles: 5$. Just for rice noodles. This is the most expensive bowl of plain rice noodles I have ever had in my life. And please reference the stale hardness as well.
I will admit, itâs evidently newly renovated and the atmosphere is great. Their washrooms are single stalled and clean. Their service is up to par and nothing exceptional nor disappointing.

Read moreJust finished dinner at Pho Queen and was very disappointed. We ordered these dishes and my reviews are as follows. Rice Rolls, 2/5, no meat inside, only shrimps, taste just so so. Spring Rolls, 3/5, too oily, over fried, slightly burnt, taste ok. Beef Pho, 3/5, big noodle portion, taste ok Beef Rib Pho, 2/5, ribs not soft enough so couldn't even get the meat off the bone. Obviously, they were not used to make the beef broth for the pho. The pho broth was probably made from artificial soup powder, very strong MSG after taste. 5, Phu style spicy noodle, 2/5, over priced at $18. Pork chop rice 3/5, not attractive at all. Texture very dry. Vermicelli, 3/5, lack authencity. Overall, foods are not authentic Vietnamese. Surprised they cannot supply peppermint and/or basil for the Pho, which is a must. Can you imagine going into a Korean restaurant which cannot supply Kimchi? Prices are on the high side. Good points: Decor is contemporary, bright and clean....
