Quesada Burritos & Tacos — Restaurant in Niagara Falls

It's really hard to find good Mexican food in Canada, but this location of Quesada provides what you are hoping for, at a reasonable price in general, and at an outstanding price relative to the prices closer to the Falls! The food is delicious. Our plate of nachos was outstanding! It was the first plate of nachos that I ever had where I wanted to order more, because I wanted to continue eating the nachos. Typically,at other restaurants, it is hard to finish a plate of nachos because aspects of the taste or texture are annoying; but Quesada's nachos were delicious! Perhaps the secret was that they asked me to choose the ingredients as they made the plate. As well, the quesadillas were delicious! Once again, they were customized according to what I wanted as they were being made, and they were a pleasure to eat. The two attendants were both very helpful throughout, and the lady who made my food wore clean disposable gloves - - and that discipline is sorely lacking in many kitchens these days! Finally, the restrooms were clean, and this pleased my guest even more than it pleased me (and I was pleased as well). Overall, our visit to Quesada was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely visit again the next time that we visit Niagara...

I have been a repeating costumer. Food is normally excellent. Staff is a hit and miss. (As it is for most restaurants)

But today just hit me in the wrong way.

I went in the girl that came to serve me put gloves on. Asked me on what I wanted. (Since I haven’t been there in about two years. I wanted to look at the menu to see if I want to change up my order) she seemed very annoyed. Then started to touch things with her gloves on. (Including the cash screen) (which coming from a restaurant background this isn’t something you would do) From that I decided to stay witch what I know. And got my bowl.

As I was watching and told her on what I wanted it was like she was rushing me. (Keep in mind there was no one in the store at the time)

we got to the toppings. I literally watched her with her gloves that she was touching everything else with move corn out of the jalapeño section. To me it grossed me out. I selected the ones she didn’t touch.

We got to sauces. She was very demanding on which ones I wanted. Which again I wanted to try something new. But didn’t … I just became very annoyed.

Updated: Food was great, i just feel sorry for the only one person working on a busy weekend with tens of online orders in front of her and a line up waiting to be served. She was trying her best to serve everyone but it just didnt feel right standing there and watching this person run around trying to hold the fort. It is not fair to have just one person working on a busy weekend. The owner should try to think about this and if wants to save money should jump in and try to help his staff. It felt like the person serving me was being exploited and I could tell that by the helpless look she had on her face. When I asked her if she is by herself and did someone call in sick ? She said no this is how the schedule is. She probably was an immigrant student and seemed unaware of her rights as an employee to have a stress free working environment. It makes me feel sad and dejected knowing how some employess are treated by their owners in food business.
