We went in to have breakfast. We noticed our ketchup bottle was leaking so we asked a server to bring us a clean one. She didn't seem impressed to have to do this. When she returned, we politely asked for more coffee and she replied sure. After 8 minutes and 42 seconds, she came back to our table and looked at my male friend directly and confronted him by stating: Did you call me lazy? He replied no. She then went on to say: Well that's not what I was told. I have my own section to serve and I'm the Supervisor/Manager today and I'm busy doing both jobs. My friend replied: I never said anything ,to which she picked up his cup, filled it and then slammed his coffee cup down on the table, picked mine up and after filling it, slammed it down and walked away.
Whats ironic is that I was the one who said: Why is it taking her so long to bring us the coffee back? It's not like the place is busy. The young brunette waitress blatantly lied to this woman.
In my 40 years of being a server, supervisor and manager, I have never ever confronted a customer in a hostile manner, let alone imply that my friend had lied to her. She did not ask me, nor did she look at me during this interaction.
When I asked to speak to her when I was leaving, the Hostess came back to me and stated that this supervisor was way too busy to come and speak to me. The supervisor was busy talking to other staff members in their area behind the wall.
I'm a secret shopper and I rate her supervisor/management skills at an F or a 0 for FAILURE, for not having proper customer service skills. I give her an F/0 for slamming our coffee cups down hard on the table, and for the young brunette server who blatantly lied to this woman an F/0 for her inappropriate behavior that started the entire chain of events.
I have dined at their other location and had a wonderful experience there. I will never return to the mcleod Road restaurant.
I have never ever been treated so rudely by a server/supervisor/manager like I was today. Lack of experience and unable to control her emotions makes her a liability. I say this because, who else has she...
Read moreMy mother and I wanted to try this new location (new to us). We arrived around 1:15pm...waited for hostess to seat us....she proceeded to wander around and slowly clear off a table. I asked if we could sit at a booth and she said ...oh that section is closing so I can seat you here.... We didn't want a table in the middle of the restaurant as my mother is slightly handicapped and was more comfortable being seated in a booth....and there was a booth off to the side, ready to go...she just stood there....I'm sorry....you close at 3pm and are refusing to seat people at an already cleared and clean table so that you can roll your eyes at us and wander away to finish cleaning off a table we have politely refused....end of story....we walked out...she didn't want to seat us....here's a hint...if you don't like or enjoy your job...get a different one....serving isn't for everyone...it can be very difficult...no joke!!!!.....But don't be rude to customers. Be considerate of people who may require different seating accommodations. Be happy and as accommodating as possible when dealing with the public. Hope your(hostess) day is better tomorrow as today was a complete failure!!

Read moreThe eggs were made perfectly to order and the toast, bacon, and sausage were all delicious. The potatoes/home fries are pretty obviously frozen products that are reheated, plain and not very good or crispy. The pancakes were what was really disappointing. I ordered a stack with the strawberry cheesecake topping. The "cream cheese" part was icing sugar. If it had cream cheese in it, it was very little. Cream cheese doesnt crystalize the way icing sugar does, and this did. The graham cracker became soggy before it reached the table and combined with the powered sugar on top gave it a grainy texture. It was way, way, way too sweet. The pancakes themselves were dry inside and difficult to cut with a fork; the bottoms tore away from the insides. I recommend skipping the pancakes here.
Everything came on the same plate, so the homefries were soaked in the strawberry topping. For someone with sensory sensitivities related to my disability, this meant I couldn't eat them.
It was really cold here, bring a jacket. Even drinking warm coffee didn't help and my wife was shivering. I got the unsweetened iced latte, which was alright.
The server was lovely and the best part of...
