My most recent visit to their Niagara Falls location, just steps from the border, stands as a testament to their consistent quality.

The star of the menu, the Legendary Shawarma Wrap, is truly deserving of its name. My go-to is the beef shawarma with spicy garlic, but for those craving an extra indulgence, adding fried halloumi cheese is a must. The meat is perfectly seasoned, bursting with rich, vibrant flavors that elevate the wrap to iconic status. Even if you customize it, you can’t go wrong.

Another standout is their unique twist on poutine—Shawarma “Boutine”. Essentially a deconstructed shawarma wrap with extra fries, it replaces the traditional bread with a generous helping of crispy, fresh-cut potatoes. This dish, humorously dubbed "レバノンお好み焼き" by my Japanophile companion, is as playful as it is delicious, proving a hit for both purists and those looking for a new spin on shawarma.

I recently visited Shelby Shawarma and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel welcome and attended to every need with genuine hospitality.

Jun 23/25: Another day of Shelby's and top-rate customer service! Param puts a smile on my face each time I see him! He has a very welcoming/nice face--with personality to match. Such a pleasure connecting w/ genuine souls that love what they do and effortlessly give their customers the very best! I loved, loved, loved my custom-made Falafel Wrap--not only perfectly made, but the best wrap I have EVER had. My gosh, that spicy garlic sauce; they need to bottle that for sale in-stores, seriously! Highly recommended! It's so refreshing to eat something unique. This is my new favorite spot, and I hope you give it a try!

Jun 22/25:The amazing attention to every detail re:allergies and wonderful customer service by the manager. In fact, he took the initiative to not only get off the cash desk to prepare my oder, but before prepping, he asked one of his staff to clear the area of allergens. I have never seen anything like this before, so beyond grateful and will return time-&-again 🥰 I also love the interior of the restaurant, the order kiosks & and the option to order at the desk. The Team are so knowledgeable about ingredients and suggestions when trying new dishes....
