Showed up a couple minutes after open, Sept 23rd. Steve had my order ready and was very welcoming! Definitely seemed happy to be working and was very friendly! The food was great! Considering it was still dark out and a rainy crummy day, it really was nice that Steve was there and working hard! I was in and out very fast but anyone involved in opening that store today should be commended! Everything was up and running and they had no line even though there was already a handful of people in the parking lot.
This location has a lot of good staff and the workers always seem happy and friendly. Management, especially the person doing hiring also deserve praise because you have a great team!
There is another guy on afternoons thats always very outgoing and friendly. I will edit this when I get his name to give him credit.
The girl that makes sandwiches in the afternoons is very nice as well.
I have to get both of their names so I can give them their due credit.
I wanted to thank all of you! Having a good breakfast and coffee down the street is super convenient but how you all act when I come in is absolutely a pleasure.
I hope you all have a great rest of your year!
And to all the stupid people complaining about service, shut up. I’ve been coming to this place for 35 years and never had an issue. You’re the problem if you have a bad experience here. Order with their app. The never get anything wrong and they will have it waiting for you when you arrive if you order a few minutes ahead. Quit asking the lowest paid workers in the whole society to do all this extra stuff. Its a donut shop. Quit acting like your paying a thousand dollars for your meal. The only thing disappointing about my whole experience was when I read your other reviews and realized how many stupid a$$holes shop at your location. To all those assholes, I just want to say, the customer is never right. Dealing with customers at a job like this is worse than dealing with inmates in a prison and I have done both.
Keep working hard guys! You’re doing very good! I show up 5 minutes after open, the store is spotless, I show up mid afternoon, store is spotless, I show up 5 minutes to close, store is spotless. Don’t let these assholes with their bullshit reviews get you down. You all do a good job and you have a good team.
I just want to finish this by saying, i do not give praise lightly....
Read moreAs always the coffee is good and the pastries are delicious, but sometimes the attention would lead to a bitter experience. My wife and I were surprised by the lady at the cash machine when she didn't show any kindness when I said the simple 'hi, how are you', and she went more acid when I showed her that I would apply for the Tim Hortons offers available in my mobile phone app.
Two coffees and two donuts by 5 loonies, not bad, so I asked for two regular medium size coffees, after the lady's no kind warning that we should ask for the product as screened in the pic, all because I asked if the promotion would cover a French vanilla coffee.
My wife doesn't like milk, I know French vanilla has milk, but just because it's a French vanilla. So I asked for no milk in one of those regular coffee. The lady replied, no... You said regulars and that means one milk and one sugar in them, closing the conversation like a grumpy parent talks with a small spoiled child.
My wife was unpleasant at that point but just to not argue with her, we accepted.
To ask for the donuts we were kind of nervous at that point, so we were so careful to choose the same product as screened in the mobile app, hopeless of having a nice feedback doing any inquiry about the donuts.
I paid we received the donuts and the receipt, we stepped back looking for the place to pick the coffees and the lady started attending others.
After five minutes we sat down to wait for coffees, and after about ten minutes the lady warned us that there were no more products we ordered...
We were confused, if she was trying to invite us to leave the place, why the place was almost empty, any way, I just replied to her, we are waiting for the coffees.
She looked at us like scanning the table we were seating, and scanning us from feet to our heads, as if we were hiding the coffees.
So she then moved kind of quickly, and saying sorry she started doing the coffees.
Well, why should I complain if she said sorry, shouldn't I, probably she wasn't having a good day. Well my wife was paying attention to her while we were waiting for the coffees, just to realize that the lady at the cashier machine was so kind with others...
Read moreI recently visited a Tim Hortons location that, unfortunately, solidified my suspicions about the franchise. Having previously been to a Tim Hortons in Chippawa that left much to be desired, I was not expecting much, but I was hoping for at least a minimal level of satisfaction. Sadly, the experience turned out to be disappointing on all fronts.
Our primary objective was to treat ourselves to some sour cream glazed Timbits. To our dismay, we were informed that they were out of stock—not just of the Timbits, but of the flavor entirely, leaving us baffled. Instead, we were offered honey cream glazed Timbits and a sour cream glazed donut. The latter seemed odd since Timbits are essentially just donut holes. If they had the donut, why couldn't they whip up a few Timbits?
Ignoring our initial disappointment, we decided to try a Nutella croissant and a Nutella donut. Big mistake. The donut was abysmal; it had a mere speck of Nutella, leaving it tasting like a plain powdered donut with a slight hint of something sweet. It was so insignificant that I found myself longing for the richer flavors I had anticipated. The croissant wasn’t any better; it was dry and bland, practically devoid of filling. I could hardly call it a Nutella croissant—it felt like a sad imitation.
Adding to our discontent was the staff. The service was not only slow but also unpleasant. It felt as though we were an inconvenience to them instead of valued customers, which further dampened our experience.
Overall, I can confidently say that I won't be returning to this Tim Hortons location—or possibly any others (owned by the same person) in the near future. With poor product quality, lackluster service, and a sense of disdain coming from the staff, it was a thoroughly disappointing visit. I hope they can address these issues, as Tim Hortons has the potential to deliver...
