Hailey's — Restaurant in North Battleford

Arrived expecting a somewhat busy bar with Rider semi-Final. Was empty. So asked server if there was karaoke, and response was, “if there’s singers”. No host at the booth, and empty kind of worrysome. Host showed up and waited 45 mins to sing.

The one server we had didn’t ask if we wanted to eat or any hospitality.

Later in the evening I asked another server behind the counter if she could change one of the tv’s to mimic the tv showing TSN football highlights across the room, only to be met with a sharp, “I don’t work here, I don’t know”. At least the other was able to do this which was great.

One of us ordered wings, but didn’t look appealing and not a pleasant smell for wings. He ate a few but passed on the rest.

Very limited service for us at the table, no real urge from staff to encourage refills. Not sure if it’ll be a return to this location in the future. There is one other location that offers karaoke here in NB and wondering if going there...

Older, tired & dated building in need of a makeover. Parking isn't great - there are spots, but the lot isn't laid out well. Inside the restaurant was shades of dark brown, somewhat unappealing. Men's washroom smelled ok, however corners, walls and ceiling needed serious cleaning to remove water marks from spills, etc. Women's washroom was much cleaner according to my spouse. Serving staff were polite but not helpful or attentive. We only saw them 4 times - to take order, drop off drinks then food, finally to pay the bill. Minimal conversation and no checking in to ask how the food was, if we needed drink refills, etc. The menu was quite good - lots of selection. We both ordered from the Vietnamese section. Both meals were fantastic, very tasty,...

Actually Less than 1 star, went for lunch with 3 friends ...was beyond horrible...they had BLT's as a lunch special...NO BUTTER on the sandwiches, (3 of us ordered them) must have had only 1 tomato to use for the whole day, and lettuce too, was almost non existent, so dry you could barely swallow it, asked for a side of mayo, just to get it down!! Waitress insisted she SAW him butter the bread, but we are 3 gramas, we KNOW if the bread is buttered or not, just by trying to eat it and visually there was none. Irrelevant by this time, as I will NEVER be back again, and neither will they...its too bad, you people lost alot of...
