McDonald's — Restaurant in North Bay

Sept 30 2022 worst drive thru service ever still. There is no organized drive thru method to take orders . Can be sitting at one speaker and 3 orders go thru on the other until you continue to talk and they can here you . They should remove the 2nd order lane. This is NOT FAST FOOD. I could gave driven to st falls faster than my order on Thursday Sept 29th. Terrible service. And telling someone at either of the drive thru windows really doesn't go anywhere

Feb 7 2019 500pm drive thru still bad as ever. Feel like Leo Gets. Food missing when you get home. They need more responsible people on drive thru. When the females are working the drive thru there are less issues. Sept 2019 Service is still extremely slow for a fast food restaurant. Most times 10 for sure guaranteed almost 15 min inside or drive thru. Really don't know what the hold up is.

I really hope each time service is faster than their average. It seems that they should remove the label FAST FOOD from their advertising. With so many people working at this McDonald's it should be fast food. Big orders or special orders Park them to get the smaller orders moving. Maybe the team at Wendy's can train the McDonald's staff in the art of fast food because at Wendy's from the point of placing your order to receiving your order it's always less than 5 min. No matter how big the line is or what you have ordered.

Update Nov 24 2019 Still as slow as ever Was 8 orders ahead of mine. Lots of employees working, but what an unorganized so called fast food restaurant. They have removed fast from the service so possibly the restaurant isn't a fast food location. They could use some training from the Wendy's staff who know what fast service is. Then after finally get the order, my daughter ask for ice cream. So I ordered that while still eating to try and cut down on the wait time. 12 min and my order number was removed from the order screen The another 4 or 5 min standing at the counter where lots of people, at least 6 employees ignored me standing there. Then 2 more min looking for my order - gave them my number again - reminded the number was removed and I haven't received the ice cream they made it...

Worst McDonald’s location by far. I’m a big fan of McDonald’s food but this location (Mckeown) Is very below average. Fries are routinely soggy from either being undercooked or left out too long, very slow drive though compared to other locations, and on warmer days they don’t put ice in their soft drinks, which is indicative of a poorly maintained ice machine, or just pure laziness. The burgers themselves are usually acceptable, sometimes a bit cool or sloppily assembled. The staff are usually friendly and seem to be trying their best. The building itself is usually in various states of disrepair (but I only use the drive through) with damage to parts of the drive through due to oversized vehicles. Looked like a piece of fascia was ready to fall off onto my truck today as it was flapping in the breeze. I wish this end of North Bay had a good McDonald’s.

*Update a few months later: Thought I’d give this particular McDonald’s another shot. Still complete and utter garbage. Fries soggy, undercooked, cold and unsalted. Building still has the same damage it had months ago. I don’t understand. Isn’t McDonald’s a huge corporation? Why do they let this happen? At least my Big Mac wasn’t cold. I just want consistently half-decent McDonald’s meals like in the past. I don’t expect perfection, just edible greasy food that’s at least hot and...

Probably the worse McDonald's in all of Ontario. Can't ever get hot food, can't understand a single person through the speakers because 90% of the staff are fresh off the boat and can't speak any English. Yesterday I asked for medium fries and a medium sprite.. the girl said "medium strawberry?!" I said no.. medium SPRITE. "MEDIUM STRAWBERRY?!" She yelled back at me, I said "NO, SPRITE. THE DRINK. THE POP?" "Is that all?" She asked and I said yes. Get to the window and my total was $1.49. I said "why is this so cheap?" She said "just medium sprite you said?" I was now a little frustrated and said "no.. medium fries, medium sprite. How difficult is that?!" She said she never took my order and was pissy with me.

Came again today to order 2 drinks and medium fries which went well because it was white staff that spoke English. Got cold soggy fries.. went back to the speaker and got broken English while trying to explain we just ordered fries and wanted a remake of fresh fries. Once again girl couldn't understand anything I said no matter how slowly I said it for her. I had to drive up to the window and speak to her like she was 3 years old.

Mcdonalds, please for the love of God get your things together.. I don't care who works wherever but they NEED TO...
