Alright, let me tell you about my experience with the falafel wrap at Tahini’s. It’s hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. First off, the bread is baked right in front of you, and you can literally see how fresh it is. The wrap itself is so soft and juicy, and every bite is packed with flavor.
But honestly, what makes it even better is the people there. The staff and chefs are just amazing—so kind and thoughtful. They load up your wrap with as many toppings as you want, and they never make you feel bad if you ask for extra sauce (which I always do). You can tell they genuinely care about making your food perfect.
The place is clean and cozy, and the staff are super professional. They bring you plates, cutlery, napkins, and whatever else you need, which is such a nice touch. It’s honestly better than a lot of places I’ve been to in bigger cities.
Plus, it’s affordable, open late, and there’s even space to sit down and enjoy your meal. I go almost every week now, and I can’t recommend it enough. For me, it’s the best food experience North Bay has to offer. If you haven’t tried it yet, trust...
Read moreUpdate sept 2025: well that didn't last long. Quality went down, spice went WAY up and seems more of a flavor cover than a taste thing. We asked for plain and got it so spicy we couldn't take more than a couple bites and debating throwing it all out. Waste of food. Smell was off too.
And this isn't a one time thing, it's been multiple times now. Unfortunate because all they have to do is just maintain quality.
Original review when they first opened: It was so good we went back the very next day!
Pros: online ordering and payment clear and concise menu fresh, clean food with good spices open until midnight daily deals to watch for
Cons: location is a bit tricky, I messed up and had to do a u turn on the highway as I realized it's on the other side.
I just hope they keep the food freshness and don't reduce the hours! Instead of burritos this will be my new...
Read moreI got a large chicken shawarma wrap combo, with fries, and a drink. The food was fresh, and very tasty. The flavours were unique and melded well together, and I felt full after, so the portions are good.
My two complaints are: The price is very high especially with a tip-prompt that gets forced on you when you go to pay for take-out. Take-out at a "fast food" restaurant should not be a thing especially when the meal is already on the pricey side. I paid almost $30 for this combo, this is a very high price for shawarma. Maybe I'm used to Toronto prices but this should only run you 15-20$, which would be the price at any other family-run shawarma restuaraunt. This is a bit nitpicky, but there is no true traditional / classic shawarma option (at least not that I was presented). Their twist on it is quite delicious, so no complaints there, but this is not...
