Boston Pizza — Restaurant in North Cowichan

We have always eaten here on pasta tuesday or if we have friends and family visiting. Almost like a tradition since moving to duncan.we used to order take out , about 2 times per month at least, but honestly cannot believe how much the service and food has gone downhill, and it seema to be getting worse and worse. My hubby orswrs his pasta and always requests no veggies in the sauce. He has an intolerance and will get sick very quick. We always request for sauce without the chunks of veg, and they do their very best to accommodate. Not this time. I ordered by phone, and the person i talked to was very hostile when i asked for this request, arguing with mw, gas lighting me, but i just got through the order abd went to pick it up. The person told be and swore thay there is no begetable im thw sauce, there never is, which os not truw, thre always is, i love the beggiea in the pasta sauce so i can confirm. Anyways, when we got home, pasta opened, and the sauce is FULL of big chunks of vegetables. Almost like they added more?

So i called beacuse we to return the pasta as he was very hungry and couldnt eat the food we just brought home. This is were the whole thing got 1000000 timea worse, the person on the phine fought with me, called me down, said i am crazy, said thay he doesnt believe me he, completely list it on me while i was gwtting more mad . In the end my parteer went down to the boston pizza and set the guy atraight, but what an emotional roller coaster, i was triggered beyond comprehension and warn eveylryone to be carefulll at duncan boston pizza, it seems to be an unsafe and customer service minded place now,. Hopw this helps someone whos experienced...

Definitely a five star for this Boston pizza! My best friend held her seven year olds birthday party here (as she does with all of her children’s birthday parties for the last, however, many years!) Unfortunately, I could not attend her seven year olds birthday this year so I called Boston pizza while my best friend was attending their pizza party there, and asked if I could pay over the phone for a slice of birthday cake to be delivered to the table. Unfortunately, they are not set up for payment over the phone but she did assure me that she would send a free slice of cake on the house to the table I was inquiring about. The young woman I spoke to, was extremely friendly, helpful and enthusiastic- her name was Robyn I believe was super friendly, and had no problem, reassuring that they would do that for me regardless of not being able to take payment on the phone (therefore it was free ).

I got a text message from my friend holding the party, about 15 minutes later - stating how happy her seven year old son was knowing he got a slice of cake from his auntie that was out of town!!!

Not only did she go above and beyond with delivering this request, but was more than happy to assure me that this will be done with no payment no problem whatsoever and had a great attitude about it.

I did grow up in Duncan and know from previous years that this town is nothing but friendly and enthusiastic about helping the community and delivering amazing customer service year round. Thank you Boston...

Worst lunch food I’ve had in more years than I can count…I live in Nanaimo and have a friend who lives in Victoria,..we meet for lunch in Duncan every few months…Tried BP for something new… I ordered a Cesar Salad with grilled chicken and specifically asked our server to ask the cook not to overcook the chicken,..in my experience, most chicken is pounded quite thin and grilled,..it overcooks very quickly…My friend ordered beef dip… When the food arrived,..the chicken was soo dry and chewy,..The beef dip was on a huge sub bun with a few pieces of round beef?…Cross between cardboard and beef jerky… The food was disappointing enough,.. but the service was terrible…Not because of a shortage of staff,..but because both servers we’re constantly going to talk to a friend sitting at the bar…As a result,..our server did not come back to check on us until it was too late to make us a better meal…When she did come back 5 mins later,..I shared that my chicken was inedible, and to please take it off my bill…My friend usually looks forward to eating half his lunch and taking the other half home for dinner…He did not take any home… Perhaps we should have ordered Pizza…I would assume you know how to make that…If your cooks do not know how to prepare simple foods properly,…You should not have it on the menu… I did give 1 star because the server brought me extra lemon for my iced tea, and my friend said the fries and...
