Fat Les's Chip Stand Winchester — Restaurant in North Dundas

We came from Ottawa to visit the new Wellings Development & we’re looking for a good chip stand as we frequent them often 😝 I’d known about Fat Les”s since they opened in Kemptville years ago so I was excited to see the stand there & told my friend we had to stop there that they had great food… 🤔 Sadly … we both left disappointed…the food rated “okay” & neither of us would recommend it… 👎🏻 Unfortunately…. the food wasn’t the only disappointment… 😔 The cleanliness of the counter area …condiment containers & the garbage that was all over the ground around the stand & eating area…. “plastic forks…lids etc…was inexcusable. 😳 Customer’s can’t dispose of there garbage properly if the containers aren’t there… 🤔 🗑 ♻️ There is so much effort being made to encourage people to recycle… compost & manage there garbage responsibly & Fat Les’s spreading there wings …. we think you should make this a priority @ all your stands & it will benefit you… the customers & our...

I understand there are rave reviews but I did not experience the same . Haddock was horrible in appearance, barely any fish left in the dark brown crust.I know what "not" to order next time . My companion had poutine which looked great, so didn't want to send it back and she eat alone. Only because I was starving could I eat it. Teenie portion of cole slaw , but tasty .Fries ok , but they could be better. Lots of them. Seem to close at 7 , maybe 615 too late for fresh food. Fish cooked many times over . Not great. For appearance alone I would never serve that...

Tried to call several times. Phone calls go straight to voicemail. We ordered burgers and indicated all dressed with no BBQ sauce and relish and fries and paid extra for gravy. Received no lettuce no tomatoes no onions, half the gravy container was empty and the fries were cold. I don't believe in writing negative reviews without first trying to remedy with thr business. Please respond with contact info and rectify the situation and I will remove my review as this is not the first time this has happened here....
