Cast Iron Bakery — Restaurant in North Vancouver

I recently discovered a hidden gem of a Baloot bakery through their products at a nearby supermarket, and I couldn't be happier! Initially, I hadn't planned on buying anything until I overheard a customer raving about their cookies. She was buying five different types and mentioned they were the best she’d ever had—even better than cookies in Iran! That convinced me to give them a try, and she was absolutely right.

These cookies are incredibly delicious, with a truly authentic and fresh taste. They’re also surprisingly light and low in calories, so you can enjoy them without feeling overly full or heavy. Beyond that, I also tried their zafaran (saffron) ice cream, which was exceptional—easily on par with some of the best I’ve had in Iran, if not better.

What’s even more impressive is how well they’ve managed their distribution. It’s so convenient to find their products in different stores, making it easy to enjoy their premium-quality treats. In fact, I usually bring cookies back from Iran when I visit, but this time, I might just take these with me instead—they’re that good!
