Ordering Pizza from Pizza Pizza North Vancouver has been a nightmare for me. This place is a Pizza Pizza only by franchise name!
I have ordered pizza from this place twice, and both times they screwed up my delivery address. This last time the driver called me and told me he was on the west side of Lonsdale from my address, so i corrected him to the east side of Lonsdale from where he was. Guess where the driver then went? WEST VAN!
After waiting outside for 25 minutes in the rain, thinking the guy was on the other side of Lonsdale from me, I realized they had no idea what they were doing. As such, I called their call-line and was able to sort out what was happening... Or so i thought.
The operator told me they would cancel the charge for the pizza. At this point I thought to myself, "hey, no worries, they will make this ok and send a new pizza in no time."
1 hour after that last call i finally received the pizza. It was ice cold. If i had to guess the manager probably just told the driver to drive the pizza that was sent all over north van and west van to me. glad to know they could have a laugh while providing such sub-par service.
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A PIZZA FROM HERE AGAIN! If you are like me, and the rest of the city/district, you probably live on a East or West street name. If so, good luck. you are probably in for an hour or two wait...
Read moreI frequently visit this store in north van as it’s just around the corner from my cafe and love the vegan chicken sandwich, however I’m this occasion I ordered 3 plant-based chicken sandwiches (came up as ‘pb chicken sandwich’ on the till and was served 3 chicken sandwiches with meat, after a couple of bites I could tell it was real chicken and went back to question my order. When speaking to the person who served me I explained I had been given real chicken and I ordered the plant based version, with a smile on his face he told me I order a papaya (don’t actually know what he said here but sounded like this) chicken sandwich and it was my fault. There is no chicken sandwich on the menu that even starts with a ‘p’ so his argument was void and rude. Another staff member came and apologised and gave a full refund, when I asked what sandwich I supposedly asked for she said she didn’t know and he made it up. I’ve been vegan for over 8 years so obviously I’m pretty upset with what has happened. It is such a shame as the franchise owner for this store and the one by the library is lovely and I’ve never had a bad...
Read moreLet's just say... That I actually have a pizza pizza location near my home in east van. Actually there are a few locations way closer than North Vancouver.
I stumbled across this location while shopping and craving for pizza, and thank god I did. Their pizza just seemed different and far better than the others... I think it must be the way they prepare their dough? I'm questioning this because all franchises should be the same right? When I was there I did get to meet their friendly staff and I believe that Kim and James are the owners. We didn't feel rushed and in fact they would be patient while walking me through their ordering process. Felt a little bad because I took my sweet @$$ time creating my own pizza while I hear their printers going off and delivers getting picked up....it was busy!
All in all I would really recommend this location, you will not be disappointed. Yes.... You're welcome!
Will be back...
