They have no idea how they should behave customers. I was disappointed every time I was there. I have asked to talk to the management a few times but they are never available, obviously the management doesn’t care how the front desk staff disrespect customers!!!!
Last week I called them and asked if it’s possible to order WHITE flat bread for a specific number for another day since I have to drive half an hour and whoever was on the phone said YES WE CAN DO IT and you can be here at 7 pm. She took my order and phone number. The other day when I was driving there at 6:45 she called me and said we’re out of white flat breads and I can give you whole wheat!!!! JUST WANT TO MENTION NOT EVERYONE IS ABLE TO EAT WHOLE WHEAT!!! Anyway, we got to the store and my husband who was so disappointed said I need you to talk to the manager and have them to respond to me. He also left his phone number for them to contact us but as I mentioned THEY DON’t CARE IF YOU’RE HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE!!! Because no one has contacted us so far!!!
Another day I was trying to call them, after so many times that they didn’t respond, they finally picked up the phone and put it aside!!!!!! I could hear them talking in the store and although I said hello so many times no one picked that phone!!! When I got to the store I told them about it and the cashier took the phone and just said oh I forgot about it and hung it up!!! She obviously does that intentionally so then she doesn’t have to answer the phones because this has happened a lot to me and to the friends who shop from them!!!
To the management: i know based on my last experience that the customer service in your business has the least importance for you, SADLY!!!! But as a person who was customer service manager for 5 years I’m suggesting you to hire another person for your front desk! There definitely has to be other jobs for your current cashier other than...
Read moreI have purchased from this store a few times before, and the front desk service used to be great. They would always ask whether I wanted white or whole wheat. However, this time, my experience was very disappointing.
First, the cashier was very impatient. I had forgotten that they offer white and whole wheat options, so I didn’t mention it and simply ordered four flatbreads. The cashier told me they only had three left, and if I wanted more, I would have to wait 20 minutes. So, I just bought three.
Later, another customer came in and asked how long the wait would be. The cashier actually went to the back to check for them. I didn’t think much of it and left after my purchase. However, while I was in my car setting up my navigation, I saw the other customer walking out with flatbreads.
I went back inside to ask if they were ready, and the cashier said yes. At that point, I was really unhappy. Why was I told to wait 20 minutes, but the other customer got theirs so quickly? This kind of treatment is unfair to customers.
To make things worse, when I got home, I found that I had received two whole wheat and two white flatbreads, but I don’t like whole wheat. If the cashier had confirmed my preference like they used to, this wouldn’t have happened.
This experience was very disappointing. I hope the store takes customer service seriously and improves its...
Read moreI went to buy barbari from Saboos Bakery with a friend. There was a large stack of bread on the shelves, but when I asked the cashier, she said they didn’t have any bread left for the day. When I pointed to the bread behind her, she claimed it was already sold. I asked again if they had any barbari bread available, and surprisingly, she changed her mind and said they would have bread ready in five minutes.
When my friend and I said we needed a total of 10 loaves, she told us she could only sell five loaves per person. We explained that we were two different individuals, each needing five loaves, but she still refused, saying we should have called in advance for an order of 10 loaves. Despite explaining that we were purchasing bread for our parents and each of us needed five, she insisted that she could only sell a total of six loaves, stating that the limit was three loaves per person.
It’s disappointing that after more than 100 visits to this bakery, we’re now reconsidering our choice due to the cashier’s inconsistent and arbitrary rules. There are so many comparable Persian bakeries where we can purchase bread, and from now on, we won’t be purchasing from this...
