Streetcar Brewing — Restaurant in North Vancouver

I've never been treated so badly in a brewery. The place was completely empty, and I sat at a table to have a snack. Just as I was about to order a juice, the staff member told me to get lost because I couldn't have my snack there. I said I gonna order now. He repeated get lost. Worst service ever.

Update: I work next door, and the person who kicked me out of the restaurant showed up in front of my workplace and gave me the middle finger. My staff and guests are shocked by his attitude. No sense of community whatsoever! Really sad!

I inquired about fresh juice, as I don’t drink alcohol while working. I didn’t ask about the price or packaging. The staff informed me that I needed to pay inside, and I mentioned that I was waiting for someone for a quick meeting and would order afterward. Hands down my favourite brewery in North Vancouver! You will need to trek up Lonsdale Ave from Esplanade (and I strongly suggest you do) if you are doing the Lolo rounds. Note: There are two entrances, the north entrance on E 1st and the south entrance on Lolo Ln.

The interior is kind of tiny but super cozy with more seats than you think (if there is space on a long table you can cozy up to a local if you must). However, there are more seats on the patio looking onto Lolo Ln which has heaters and is covered.

The staff are always friendly and you're really not going to face a long line. The mainstay beers are always delicious and the rotating are always interesting.

Update August 2024: Always a great visit here. Had the Wednesday $20 special of beer, chicken sandwich & tots (from Cream Pony) - I'm not a big fried chicken fan but damn it was tasty! They don't do enough to promo their fun specials...make sure to check out both the Monday and Wednesday deals, as well as the Happy Hour(s) from open til 4pm. August 2022: Sweet location off the lane. Small inside, but a great patio (with firebowls!) that make you feel like you're hanging at a campground, enjoying great beers with friends.
