Where even to start with how much I love Cream Pony - the donuts are fantastic, especially their seasonal offerings, and their weekend special lemon curd filled donut. I haven't got to try their crullers yet but I believe those are served on Thursdays.

The chicken is out of this world - I always get the nuggies with cajun mayo, tender and incredibly juicy pieces of chicken breast fried to perfection. You can really taste the difference that these were happy chickens! I'd love if their dips were a touch bigger, but thats just because I want leftovers, one dip is enough for an order of nuggies. The fried chicken pieces are also incredible, I'm just one of those folks who doesn't want to deal with bones. I haven't tried the sandwiches but I've seen them and they look just as fantastic as everything else. DO NOT SKIP THE TOTS! Crunchiest most delicious tots I've ever had!

The customer service is beyond words! All the staff are super kind, friendly and helpful and very willing to go above and beyond for special requests. I placed an order for delivery through the app and called to add a special request; instead of feeling bad about bothering them with my special request, they somehow made me feel like I was doing them a favor by being picky 🤣

Overall I have nothing bad to say about Cream Pony, and if you're on the fence about trying them out, this is your sign to go get some chicken!

Edit: Update to my previous review - everything remains delicious and the service is out of this world! Updated info on...

What a cute little local spot!! I have had always heard that this was a must visit spot in Lower Lonsdale, as I am now on the North Shore daily. This place is tucked down a dark grey alley and as you walk into it, you see a lovely pink mural on the left side and your curiosity flows. As I slowly walked towards it, you can hear the cheerful music coming from the establishment, and you know it will be a FUN and WONDERFUL place.

I loved how inside was just PINK, everything is PINK. Even some of the donuts they have are just oozing PINK. The little café was just cute, cuddly, and welcoming. As a person who doesn't mind this much energy from the establishment, I surely embraced it and started to order food so I can have lunch.

I ordered the Chicken Sandwich, regular with no spice on it as I was going back to work that day, and on top of that had a meeting later in the evening with a friend. And I chose to do their combo as a choice of drink and a donut came with it. I chose the Caramel donut, and a lemonade as the drink. It wasn't that bad of a price with it as well. It was the perfect amount of food for lunch and a small treat of a donut too! Loved it.

The service was friendly as the person who took the order would explain everything and was extremely nice as well. She had a smile on and would purposely bring my food to my table for me. She was so nice. I 100% would come back with some co-workers next time, and sit on those lovely tables again. Just love the...

I was looking forward to trying this place after reading the great reviews, but honestly I’m not sure where they came from after dining there tonight.

I ordered the OG fried chicken sandwich which came on a flattened, low quality bun and the chicken was bland and underwhelming. Really lacked seasoning and I had to drizzle the hot honey dip on top just to get a tiny bit of flavor. Probably the worst fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had if I’m being honest! I can name two fast food restaurants with a better product.

I also got the tater tots on the side which were very average and hardly seasoned. Not very crispy either.

Another thing to mention which contributes to the 2 stars is the cleanliness of the place. The 3 of us sat at 2 side by side small tables both dirty with sauces and crumbs from the last people who dined there. There was one other party in the place so surely the staff had time to clean up but couldn’t be bothered. What’s the point in checking our vaccination cards if you’re not cleaning the tables?

However, I did come by 2 days prior to try their donuts and they were excellent, 4/5 stars. I’ll definitely be back for those and I’d like to try their coffee as well.

This place has a lot going for it - the decor is cute and it’s tucked away in a side alley of an up and coming neighborhood. However, they’re going to have to do some serious work to their recipes and train their staff on health & safety protocols if they want to make it...

Only giving a 4 star because I only tried one thing and would like to come back and try some more of what they have to offer. Stumbled upon this place with my partner on our walk after we had already gone to Lucky's donuts. The inside smelled super yummy! - like the PNE mini donuts which I have always loved, but I can see that being an issue for some people. Being that we had already had our lunch and donuts elsewhere but couldn't pass up getting something, we decided to take one donut to go for our ferry ride home. It was a vanilla donut with the pink vanilla glaze and sprinkles. Boy did we regret not getting more than the one donut. It was super airy, light, soft, and balanced flavour. We wanted more! Not overly sweet either which is a major plus being we aren't mega sugar fiends but love us a good balanced sweet treat. We appreciated how simple yet delicious the donut was. It's been two weeks and we still talk about it! The staff person helping us was also super friendly and fun to talk to! Look forward to coming back someday when we're back in North Van! Will have to give the fried chicken a taste!
