Tonight I attended the Speers road location to pick up a mobile order for my colleagues.
It was a large order consisting of 4 burritos and a quesadilla.
The order was supposed to be ready for pickup at 7:50pm.
I arrived at 7:47pm and saw a takeout container sitting on the counter.
The staff advised me there would be a wait for the order. They proceeded to make several other orders before they started assembling my burritos.
They then grabbed the takeout container from the counter and went to place it in the bag. I asked the staff " is that the quesadilla for this order?"
The staff advised it was. I asked them to make me a fresh quesadilla as I wasn't interested in eating something that had been sitting on the counter for 20+ minutes.
The staff began to argue with me telling me " it's fresh", " it's warm", and " just feel it".
I told them again, I'd like a fresh one as it had now been sitting out for at least 20 minutes (that I was there, who knows how long it was on the counter before I arrived).
The staff then continued to assemble the burritos for my order. I figured they would make me a fresh quesadilla once they were done.
I figured wrong. Instead, they proceeded to tell me again it was still fresh and warm.
They said they attempted to contact their manager, but the manager did not answer.
I simply asked them to make me a fresh quesadilla to my meal could have the same freshness as my co-workers.
Once again, I was informed it was still warm.
I informed the staff I didn't care if it was still warm, you shouldn't leave food sitting on the counter for 20 minutes. The staff then rudely informed me it wasn't 20 minutes and when I asked the staff if she'd like to see my Google timeline she said " no I don't care."
At this time, I noticed a couple of other burritos sitting on the counter beside where my quesadilla had been sitting there getting cold. I asked if the burritos were waiting for someone.
Staff informed me those burritos were the “waste pile” and had been sitting there since the morning. So not only was my food cold as it had been sitting there for 30 mins by the time I left, it was sitting in the garbage pile. Staff then told me they were “too busy’ to throw out the food.
I find it unacceptable the quality of service and food I received tonight. One dish should never be prepared 30 minutes prior to the rest of the meal
A McChicken takes longer to cook than a Big Mac, but they don’t prepare the Big Mac and let it sit for 30 minutes while they prepare...
Read moreThis place is open 24 hours...I went in, and the person who was working did not, say hi, or how are you...be with you in a moment..not really any acknowledgment..she was working on an order that much was clear...however classic fast food, restaurant establishment protocol, you greet the people when they come in..acknowledge their existence...if you are busy, say "I will be eith you in a moment", super easy to do. I waited I would say around seven minutes before she acknowledged my being there...another worker came on simultaneously and helped these other three guys that came in like five minutes after me..and I was like.." can you help me first please???" It was really poor communication...I didnt know what was going on with the food..the process..the girl just walked to the back....I waited...not sure what was going on..I also have had multiple concussions and have light sensitivities..I waited about 15 minutes.. until I had to leave because .the lights were way to bright for my eyes..and I didn't know what was going on with my food order...its like subway where you say what you would like to put in your whatever you order...but she did not start that process with me...it was poor customer service...poor communication...and the lights were way to intense. Never going back...do not recommend that place unless they hire new people who now how to work the front end and communicate. Super...
Read moreExtremely poor service and disappointing food.I usually order from another Quesada location and have had good experiences. This time I ordered from the Spears Road branch, and the entire order was a mess. The rice was excessively salty, the sauces I selected weren’t added, and the chicken smelled bad—it seemed stale or spoiled. When I reached out, I was told to “just send a picture,” which makes no sense. How do you expect someone to show smell or saltiness in a photo? Still, I sent pictures. But even the chips were soggy and greasy, and the guac didn’t taste fresh either. I called the store and was told someone would speak to the manager—no response. Later, I spoke to Drishti, who told me I should’ve come to the store right then and there. That’s absurd. I don’t drive, and the location isn’t close. Why should a customer—especially a regular one—have to physically return a bad burrito just to prove a point? Instead of taking responsibility, they kept making excuses and put the blame on me. I’m not asking for a refund or even store credit—it’s not about the money. It’s about basic ethics, accountability, and treating customers with respect. I’ve been loyal to Quesada, but after this experience, I’ll think twice before...
